The best cut and color I have ever had! Jyl does my cut and color and I am pleased every single time. Always consistent which is VERY important and professional . When I enter the door the entire staff is friendly and Jyl welcomes me as a friend. I cannot say enough great things about this salon.

The salon was recommended by several of my neighborhood friends. I've been looking to do something different with my hair for a long time and was nervous about what my stylist may suggest. I was fortunate to get Jyl and can't say enough about my whole experience. Thank you , my friends were right and I'll definitely be back.

I have several friends who have went to Jyl Craven Salon and loved it. I would just recommend a couple of things to anyone planning to go. Do not shedule your appointment with Jyl herself. She does a lovely job running and promoting her salon but not so great at hair. She seems too busy talking to her staff about her next promotional idea to care about your hair. I thought by going to the owner I would be getting the best at the salon. I had a cut and color. The hairstylist trainey did my color when while Jyl was off doing someone else's cut. The trainey messed up my color and blonde color all over my hair instead of having highlights and low lights. I overheard Jyl telling the trainey she had messed up it wasn't supposed to be all over color. They were talking across the room so I couldn't hear everything. The trainey then quickly came to shampoo my hair. My hair was fried and was too blonde. It started breaking off. Everyone just tried to smile and tell me it looked great. I think this is a good place to have hair done but just go to one of the lower level stylists who will take more time and energy on you.

My hair has a mind of its own, and, usually, the color it will turn is anybody's guess; I'd resigned myself to a fate of brassiness and weird orange tones...until I trusted my hair to Jyl. Now, in a matter of three appointments, I've gone from my natural dark brunette color to a gorgeous, flattering blonde (and all without compromising the integrity of my long hair). Not only did they do exactly as I asked (kindly and attentively), but Jyl even talked me out of a treatment I'd had my heart set on - one which was not necessary to achieve the results I'd been looking for - sacrificing the considerable amount of money I would have paid in favor of integrity and admirable customer service. The staff is wonderfully polite, considerate, and personable; everyone I've encountered has seemed to take genuine pleasure in their work, and I've only witnessed fantastic results from their attention. I used to dread subjecting myself to keeping hair appoints, what with the hours of discomfort, surly treatment, and terrible results...that's all changed now that I've found Jyl Craven! I actually look forward to the experience this salon offers, as well as the superlative result each visit consistently renders!

I give them 5 stars!!. Jyl Craven and her salon are amazing. My Hair has never looked so good! Im so happy I found this place. I have definately found my new favorite salon!!

Best Hair north of Atlanta. I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I needed to write about this salon and Ricky in particular. I followed Ricky there -- he is awesome with color! I change my hair color so much and he knows exactly how to work with it! He is a brilliant colorist and gives a great cut, too. He's professional and kind (and funny too)! Also, he listens to what I want and delivers every time! Which is so important to me in a stylist. (I have lived in the area for four years and have been through a few stylists.) I just adore him and this salon!

Awesome salon. I found John before he was working at JYL Craven because i danced in woodstock. Things happened and he ended up moving to JYL Craven and i of course followed him. Once i graduated it was harder to get up there to see him so i tried someone closer to home and i ended up leaving the salon in tears. I will NEVER to go another stylist again. It is definately worth the drive for me and you should mention John. My entire dance family goes to him and we all adore him!!

Jyl Craven. Okay, so I finally decided that I was going to spend the money on professional hair extensions and they did not turn out so well, I am not going to say who put them in, or where I had them done but let me just say I loved the hair and regretted that the stylist did not correctly place them (picture wefts hanging loose, one after another and a dreadlock the size of a golf ball at the nape of my neck all do to adhesive that was glomming on to my hair). So I go to Jyl Craven and a team, A TEAM of stylists work at removing my extensions, and the adhesive along with them without hurting me. Tim and Christy work their magic with brand new extensions that were stunning! My baby fine, thinning, short hair was transformed into an amazing head of shining, thick, layered hair that was just beautiful! My hair looks so natural! You can not see the extensions at all! Sharon and Jyl (the owners) were so sweet and amazing! The receptionists were so warm and very friendly! This is THE place to get your hair done! I am amazed at the quality of service I received! Tim even called me the next morning to make sure my extensions were doing well! He gave me the 411 on how to care for them and recommended products to use that would help my thinning, fine hair. I will never go anywhere else to have my hair cared for! Jyl Craven is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Salon in Canton GA!!. I met my stylist Rosalie at the gym and I had been training her for a few months when she suggested that i come in to get some highlights and a cut. I have been going to her for almost a year now and i get compliments wherever i go!! she offers her professional opinion along with what i want and it always comes out beautiful. She now has a client for life with me
