Go here if you want your pet to die painfully. I brought my cat here with a swollen abdomen they told me she was pregnant, but really her abdomen was filling up with fluid because she had FIP and it killed her yesterday. Do not bring your pets to this place, the staff is untrained and they are stupid enough to make assumptions about your pet's condition without any logical grounds for doing so. I made the mistake of bringing my pet here and now she is dead because of it, don't make the same mistake.
Wellness plans. I can't say enough about the service and staff at this location. I have my three dogs on wellness plans at this location. I have been to others and got completely different service. With the program they offer I can go to whatever banfield location I want. We travel during the summer and that has come in handy. Cost was a set back with three dogs until I started going to banfield. Thank god for the wellness plans! It is a package of all the preventative care my babys need over the year.. And I could have paid in full which was something like $250 each or pay monthly that in a monthly fee at no extra charge.. I of course went with the monthly. It covers vaccines, dewormers, heart worm test, and other blood work the looks at the over all health of them. Plus no office visit EVER.
Terrible place - ridiculously high prices.
Stunned to find out that Petsmart , which attempts to portray itself as caring so deeply about homeless pets, has such a horrible vet service in its stores.
We adopted 2 kittens from an animal shelter and went in the following day to get a check up and vaccines.
When I asked if they had a first visit discount for rescue pets , they informed me their "discount" was their "Wellness Plan" - which of course is the same price for rescue pets as it is for other pets ($240- $300+ per year per pet) .
After repeatedly trying to sell me the plan , I asked for an estimate for the first time visit for my two kittens .... $450 !!
I went home and called another vet and was quoted $86 each for the same services - the receptionists response was " Good grief!" when I told her what Banfield tried to charge me.
Gave them 1 star only because I didnt have the option of NO stars
