Rude, snooty owner--Don't Bother. I have shopped here for years. Love their jewelry, but the owner is so unfriendly. Recently, I stopped in and fell in love with a handbag which was the only one they had left, so they put it on hold for me until the 'end of the day' when they closed at 6:30pm. I'm the kind of person who will call the store if I've put something on hold and let them know if I'm going to buy the item or not. I received a call at 4:15pm on the same day I put the purse on hold. The sales lady left a message asking me if I was still interested in the purse because there was someone in the store who wanted to buy it. More specifically, the message emphasized that this woman had to have this bag. FIVE (5), yes FIVE minutes after the sales lady called I picked up the message and called right back. The purse was gone...sold....out the door in a hurry. I'm miffed about the way this made me feel. I felt like they HAD to make a sale and that my money wasn't good enough. I guess in this economy you have to sell your good out from under customers who have been loyal to you. Ok...I get it...things could be a lot worse...it's not life or death....but this was a botched customer service issue that impacted a loyal longstanding customer. Well, no more. I will never go back. I get a lot of satisfaction supporting locally owned businesses, but I can get everything they sell at other places without the attitude. Bye-bye.
