Best dental office I have ever been so far and Dr. Amy is the best dentist I have ever met. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for any of my appointments. I have got so much stuff done ..deep cleaning, wisdom tooth removal, cavities filling etc in less time. Dr. Amy has always been very kind, gentle, and helpful to me. Her assistants are also very nice. They always go over entire procedure and prices before hand so you know what to expect. I love Dr. Amy, she is just awesome.

In 2010 I visited this Imagix location as a new resident to the John's Creek area. I really enjoyed my appointment as a new patient and my teeth had no issues, but I was unable to make another appointment due to the fact that I lost my insurance after being laid off from my job and couldn't afford another dental cleaning until the end of this year... flash forward to yesterday (10-3-12) and I COULD NOT BE MORE SKEPTICAL OF THIS BUSINESS.

After hounding and "reminding" me by text message every other month for 2 years that I was overdue for my appointment I finally scheduled because I needed to replace my orthodontic retainers as well as get a cleaning and this was the two-in-one ortho/dental convenience I was looking for.

After being placed in the chair, the dental hygienist walked in to view my chart first thing and immediately mentioned that I hadn't been by in 2 yrs and asked if I had seen anyone else, to which I replied "no." The first step in my dental check-up was 6 bite-wing x-rays. They x-ray'd the front teeth which is great but, I've never had this done in the entirety of my 26 year life, WHICH MAKES ME QUESTION IT'S PURPOSE. The hygienist counted my recession and as she counted kept dictating that my rear gums were bleeding during the count. Keep in mind, many people can attest to the way I take care of my teeth. I have had braces twice, and upper and lower corrective jaw surgery for an open bite. I brush at the least twice a day, morning and night, and floss 1 to 2 times a week. (I'm not the most amazing floss-er, but no one I know is!!!)

The dentist came by my "station" to review my x-rays shortly after and immediately counted several teeth with "issues." I was first told that it looked like I needed a crown because I had some "decay forming under a large filling." Then the dental tech sat down next to me to explain my "patient care plan" and it was complete with 2 crowns and 4 fillings that in total were going to cost me $1270.00 just on my half (insurance would be pulled for $3164.00)! Not to mention at my new patient appointment back in 2010 the dentist kindly asked me if I had thought about teeth whitening... I said that "I had thought about it but was not interested." That didn't stop them from attempting to include a $199.00 teeth whitening procedure on this so called "patient care plan" this visit, adding to my outrageous total (i did not include that in my total mentioned above).

After getting VERY upset and frustrated I told them that I needed to get a second opinion because I could not trust their diagnosis. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD RETRIEVE ANOTHER DENTIST IN-HOUSE FOR A SECOND OPINION. I immediately declined and mentioned I would get my second opinion elsewhere. They informed me that I could have my x-rays sent to my e-mail so that I could have another dentist view them... BUT AFTER ASKING AT CHECK OUT AND CALLING AGAIN THIS MORNING TO REMIND THEM, I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THAT E-MAIL.

I assume that because I was not a 6 month dental visitor they decided it was time to reach into my pockets. I'm a college student and I work at Starbucks to provide myself with health insurance. I do not have time for these people to be yanking my chain.

If you are looking for a dentist that will monitor your dental health with perfectionist expectations by all means use their business, but be prepared to pay for it. As for me, I'd rather "watch" my problem teeth and give my body time to repair itself before I implant more metal into my already bionic mouth. This business is not benefiting the health of our community, they are only digging for gold.

Crowning Disaster: Kids should be treated better. Just the facts Yesterday my 7 yr old daughter received a pulpotomy w/crown. That was at 3pm, by 6pm the crown was off. She was in pain all night. This AM, she was seen and the error was corrected. The dental assistant explained that the adult dentist had worked to set the tooth correctly and that she did not know why the Pediatric dentist did not prep the tooth correctly yesterday. He put the wrong size crown on the tooth. Today took 30 minutes of additional drilling to get the tooth prepped and crown sized correctly.

It took me out of work, my daughter out of school and all of it was not necessary if the pediatric dentist had slowed down and paid attention to detail. I trust with the medical training and certifications that he has that he is aware of how to perform the procedures correctly.

It is not acceptable that my child had to go through this twice. I am so hurt as a mother all I wanted to do was spare her this pain. It hurt her, her cheek is swollen and inside her gums are torn and bleeding.

I spoke with the office manager and she stated the dentists and owners will be looking into the issue. I paid $101 for my portion of the procedure and my insurance is paying the rest. No offer to refund my portion.

I am so disappointed and hurt that my child has to go through this. I cancelled my families’ appointments. They lost my business because I can not trust this practice. My daughter was very good and tollerated their error.

I on the other hand do not think I am sorry was enough to make up for my childs pain!!!!!!!!!

GREAT DENTAL OFFICE!!!!. LOVE this office!!!! My whole family goes here and the kids just love the doctors. The staff is always so friendly. I have never had any problems with billing or insurance because the front desk has everything ready for me when I get there. It's nice to have the kids soooo excited about going to see the dentist!

WHAT A SCAM! NEVER USE THEM. I called their office, gave them my insurance infrormation, and they told me they were in network and DID take my insurance. To have my wisdom teeth out they gave me a cost printout of $390.00, which I paid in full. Months later, they started trying to collect another $400!!?? Turns out they lied about being in network and now they have sent a creditor after me to collect this fraudulent charge!! NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE.
