“would NOT recommend the Peachtree Industrial Blvd location to anyone---very very bad pizza and waste of money.”
“The pizza was great- delicious sauce and crust.”
“Not only because the owner and many of the Patrons come from Buffalo but because the pizza is so good and has a large selection of specialty pizzas to choose from.”
“Since this place is in our neighborhood, we'll still be on the same stretch of Peachtree eating at the great Indian restaurant next door, at Jo's Grill at Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry and as for pizza, hopefully the new pizza joint at Ashford Dunwoo”
“called immediately to ask if the driver could come back with our pizza, and the manager on the phone actually said we did order the cheese.”

“Anyway, unfortunately this was a huge bust.”
TERRIBLE Customer Service - DO NOT GO. We recently had company over for lunch and ordered a veggie pizza from Gallas. When we opened the box for lunch, it was a cheese pizza. I called immediately to ask if the driver could come back with our pizza, and the manager on the phone actually said we did order the cheese. He said he could send over a veggie in 45 minutes, but he would have to pick up the cheese and take it back. Since I had company, I had to serve the cheese. The manager was so rude on the phone, he actually accused us of trying to get 2 pizzas for one. Really poor form and he never once asked his phone order taker (who was obviously in a hurry when she took my order) about it. WE ARE DONE WITH GALLAS!!!
There Are Better Pizza Options. We have the other Galla's pizza here in Brookhaven. My husband and I found the quality unremarkable. The crust had absolutely no character, the toppings, including the cheese and meat were poor poor, quality...hormel or similar. We are of the mind that frozen pizza from the grocery store would be a better option. My grandparents and family is from Italy. Having traveled extensively we know good Italian-American and Italian food. This is not it. It tickles us that our neighbors in our million dollar neighboorhood order their delivery frequently. It seems money cannot indeed buy taste. For excellent Italian food in Atlanta prepared by Italians eat at Baraonda. It is worth the trip to Midtown.
Just OK Pizza, terrible customer service. Again I was fooled by the reviews on citysearch! I visited this pizzeria (if you can call it that) with high hopes of finding some good pizza. What I got what an ok pizza and a style that I'm not particularly fond of. I grew up in New York City (yes, I am a damn yankee) and I love Pizza, all types of Pizza. Apparently, this is Buffalo, NY style pizza, but I'm not sure being that I have never visited Buffalo. They crust is on the thin side and the sauce is nothing special. it is a round Pizza but they cut square pieces out of it, which I'm not crazy about. It wasn't the worst Pizza I ever had, but I would rate it just a step about fast food Pizza (Papa Johns, Dominos...). Besides the Pizza being ok the service was terrible. I called while on the road to place an order and had some questions due to I have never been there before and had not seen a menu. Whomever answered the phone was rude and acted like I was bothering them. I almost cancelled the order but I was really curious to try their pizza. I wouldn't recommend this Pizzeria to anyone.
Best Pizza in GA. Im from the north Buffalo to be exact and there is NOTHING like Buffalo food. No one anywhere can top the great taste of Buffalo food whether it be wings, pizza, subs or anything you can think of. When I came to Atlanta I was looking for the great taste and quality of ANYTHING because I had not had anything I could say tasted like HOME. Well that stopped at Galla's. Not only because the owner and many of the Patrons come from Buffalo but because the pizza is so good and has a large selection of specialty pizzas to choose from. Even a former Buffalo Bills player works in there. (he played with OJ Simpson might I add). My personal favorite is the Steak Pizza. They are very giving when it comes to cheese and steak. The service is great and everyone has a great attitude. There is a sit in area in which they will be currently expanding but I ordered takeout. I will sit in the restaurant on MANY occasions. I Definitely recommend.
Very good Cheesesteak!.
I've had the pizza, and it is decent, just OK (in East Cobb), but it is no Labella's!!!
That being said, the Cheese Steak reminds me of one from my old hometown in NJ, Vinnie's Pizzeria. Great taste! Recommend the mushrooms! Will definitely order more of that sandwich!
East Cobb has Labella's Pizza & Galla's Cheese Steak, and Jersey Mike's Subs. I love this area!
Greasy Bland Pizza.
After reading the reviews for Galla's Pizza Marietta, I was very excited to see that they had opened up a new location on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Unfortunately, it does not seem that their new location is at the same standards as their Marietta location. The pizza was very GREASY and BLAND. Galla's is the only that I have actually thrown away the leftovers, instead of eating them the next day.
I would NOT recommend the Peachtree Industrial Blvd location to anyone---very very bad pizza and waste of money.
Great pizza, excellent service.. I tried the Galla's on Peachtree last night based on a friend's recommendation. The pizza was great- delicious sauce and crust. And it's even good the next day as leftovers! All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful, and there's a large menu selection. I will definitely go back.
Do not go to the Peachtree Rd. location!. Well we called in a carry-out order for the first time tonight, just one medium pizza, our first time ordering from this chain and their location on Peachtree Rd. in Chamblee. We were told that it would be 20-25 minutes before it's ready. I left so that I would arrive right around the 25 minute mark. When I walked into the location it was near chaotic. Of course, our order wasn't ready yet and many, many other people were waiting for their orders near the front of the restaurant. It was ridiculous. There were tables and tables full of people with no food on them that were constantly looking towards the kitchen obviously waiting on their orders as well. Eventually, at the 45 minute mark, my order was ready...and absolutely no apology at all for the delay. Hmmm, nice way to start off a customer to your location!? Anyway, fast forward to getting back and trying out the pizza for the first time and wow, completely unimpressive. If it weren't for the sausage on our sausage and mushroom pizza, I swear there would have been zero taste to it! How do you manage to make pizza crust or sauce with no taste in it?? Anyway, unfortunately this was a huge bust. Our advice is to steer clear. Since this place is in our neighborhood, we'll still be on the same stretch of Peachtree eating at the great Indian restaurant next door, at Jo's Grill at Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry and as for pizza, hopefully the new pizza joint at Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry will actually taste good and have good customer service.
Great Pizza and wings....Excellent Service. I live in Charleston South Carolina , but while visiting a girlfriend in Atlanta we ate at Galla's. Let me tell you, I have never had pizza as good as Galla's. The Veggies are FRESH...the dough is to die for..The WIngs are full of flavor and mostly meat( which isn't always the case when you order wings..most of the time you get a bite of meat and the rest is bone and sauce) and the sandwiches are mouth watering. Luckily, I travel through Atlanta a lot with work, and every time I do..you better believe I stop at Galla's. They greet you with a smile and provide you with the best product and the best service. They must be doing well, because my girlfriend told me that they were opening a Dine in Restaurant on Peachtree Road near Oglethorpe University...Its near the brookhaven area I think.. sometime this summer... anyhoo..Can't wait to go!! I only wish they had a store in South Carolina. !!!
Quality Ingredients and creative combinations!. I no longer live in Atlanta, and one of the things I miss the most is Galla's pizza. What always impressed me about the Galla's product is how fresh everything is. No canned veggies, really good quality cheeses and meats and the best pizza dough in town. I'm not sure how the manage to pull off such a high quality product at such reasonable prices, but they do! Try the Cheesesteak pizza for a change from the traditional taste. It's my husband's favorite and he still talks about it even though we've been gone for months!
