“4) They are rude and care nothing about customer service.”
hard to find parts. I have a 02 Subrau Outback LL BEAN model. I needed a hood, grill and a headlight assembly, after a incident with a deer. After doing a state wide search, Givens was the only yard in GA to have a legacy outback (did not ask for LL Bean). After reading some of the bad reviews by others, I went ahead and called them was told a price that was reasonable and drove the 70 miles to the yard. The yard man showed me the parts that was still on the car to make sure its was what I wanted. they charged me the price that they quoted over the phone and helped me load it on the top rack of the car. When I got home, I looked at the headlight assembly and noticed it had the LL BEAN trim on it! I am one happy camper.
First Class!.
Very Honest "look you in the eye" kind of team at Givens. Good family people! Always giving that extra ten per-cent that makes for first class service.
Hard job made to look easy by these veterans. Phones ringing off the hook but still take the time needed for each customer.
Give them a try , you will be glad you did
Busy but got the job done.
Visited Givens Auto parts last Saturday and they were busy as bees.
It looked like the varsity with orders flying. I thought that I would never be able to get my truck part.
I needed two taillights for my 2001 Dodge pick-up and got ready for a long wait .
But to my pleasant surprise, those taillights were pulled right off the shelf and presented to me.
The tail lights were brand new and at a very reasonable price.
I got my problem solved at Givens Auto Parts in Dacula, Ga.
Just saying, good place to do business.
Thanks, Givens people
Refreshing service.
I visited this establishment recently.
When I called on the phone, a real person answered the phone and I was in a good mood already. I hate to sit on hold and feel like people think my time has no value.
I was in need of a 5.7 engine for my family's 1999 suburban and when the representive put me on hold to check, I got ready again for a long wait but it was less than a minute that I had availability and price.
I did go purchase this engine and in the process, I was able to get an installer recommended that I found to be very reasonable and had my engine installed and I was driving again in less than a week. I thought it was a bonus that at no extra charge the installer picked up the enine from the Givens store and returned my bad engine for a discount for trading in my bad engine.
While I was there I learned this was a family business that had started out in 1962 and has survived the deep recession that had closed so many smaller businesses.
I asked how they had managed this survival and got a comforting common sense answer that they always paid as they go and never borrow money. If they can't pay for it they make do until they can.
Very rewarding experience. I would recommend that you give this family business a try.

Honest, courtious helpful team.
I have been doing business at Givens Auto Parts for sixteen years and have been very satisfied with their merchandise and service.
I recognize that this is a very labor intensive operation and many items are special order and it is my obligation as a customer to order the part I need; give the correct model, make and year. But if I make a mistake the staff has been willing to swap for the correct part.
Forty- eight years experience is impressive and it shows with their skill to get all the info from the customer and offer money saving advice on what will and what will not work.
Of course, the Givens team only sell the parts and the customer must make sure that the part is installed properly. The auto parts can only perform as well as they are installed. A poor choice in a mechanic can ruin a perfectly good auto part.
RIP OFF ALERT. DO NOT do business with these people. 1) They over charge. 2) They do not offer refunds even if THEY SELL YOU the wrong part or if the part that they sell you isn't the right size for your vehicle (all GM parts DO NOT fit all GM vehicles) 3)They act like they know everything about cars and will argue with you even if you have a certified mechanic try to put the part on your car and it doesn't fit and you try to explain to them why it doesn't fit. 4) They are rude and care nothing about customer service. 5) They treat you like an idiot if you are a female. So save yourself the hassle and take it from a 25 year old struggling to make ends meet on her own who is now out a working vehicle and $53 and research a decent, honest auto parts dealer, because the family of the family owned Givens Used Auto Parts are a bunch of sexists crooks!
