Worth the drive!. Although you have to drive all the way to Dawsonville, it's worth it and you will have good scenery on the way. Once you get there you can walk around and look at the butterflies and other random small animals. You will be on a two hour tour where you will be taken around the land on a large open shuttle to see all the kangaroos, you will be amazed at all the different types you will see. Then you will be taken to a live demonstration that is very educational. It is a unique experience here in the South. Make sure you have reservations and make sure you check the age limit, no small children. You will find everyone there very delightful and dedicated to their jobs.
