“We spent about 4 hours at the new Vinings location, has a fireplace in center and great outside seating.”
“The desserts are absolutely horrible-- don't even bother.”
“great margaritas and bar”
“Foodwise, so far my favorites are the pork tacos and the skirt steak salad, but everything has been mouth-wateringly delicious.”
“dishes was removed - was disappointed, however everything on the menu is delicious!”
“Noche is a great place to grab a bite, enjoy some ambiance and build a solid foundation on which to float an ocean of liquor at surrounding VH bars and taverns.”
“The food was very tasty and something I would love to go back and eat.”
“I've read lots of reviews, and noticed that the ongoing theme is an xtremely rude hostess.”
“don't go here very often because I just find the atmosphere annoying--drunk 20somethings imbibing cheap alcohol and trying to relive colle.”
“We were seated immediately in the table of our choosing and although drink service was a tad slow, once our orders were in, a cornucopia of bite-sized delights ranging from spicy seafood morsels to BBQ(delicious pulled pork) to grilled meats with exotic d”

A Virginia Highland tapas mainstay with $2 tacos on Mondays and lively patio in the rear.
Delicious!!!!. Great food!! Great margaritas! Definitely make reservations or be prepared to wait. They have a huge margarita list. Everything on the menu is great. Try the fried chicken/mashed potato, seared scallops with wasabi sauce, and lobster taco. All are excellent! The pulled pork was unexpectedly good with a corn cake and crispy onions on top. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. Great for small groups too.
Virginia-Highland hot spot changes course to serve small plates with big Southwestern flavors..
In Short
An array of drink specials ($5 margs, $1 beers) and a menu built for the masses keeps this brightly-colored Highlands cantina slammed on a nightly basis. The affordable style and primo location attract a diverse crowd: stalwart scenesters starting their night with a light nosh; upwardly mobile 20- and 30-somethings sipping margaritas after work; and Emory seniors who nurse pitchers of beer and flirt with the upbeat, if slightly scatterbrained, servers. The "tapas" menu is more about style than authenticity and caters to every taste imaginable. Barbecue chicken pizza, mini burgers and other Americanized favorites get a dusting of Southwest flavor, making any one dish hard to hate. Juicy fried chicken comes with chipotle mashed potatoes, fish tacos are spiked with jalapeno tartar sauce and cornmeal-crusted fried green tomatoes rate as consistent winners. Not everything has to be authentic to be successful.
fun place.
Noche is a new favorite. They do have a great margarita...but their seared scallops are AWESOME! It's a nice place to go and have some fun w/ friends or co-workers. Try to sit outside though. The bar is cool too...
Our server was so-so...but they were also really busy and the drinks and food made up for it. Takes a while to sit, but it's worth it.
Good Time. I went to Noche with a bunch of friends from work and sat outside. It did take a long time to be seated but it gave me a chance to have a glass of wine and stand out front and watch all the people walking by. Once seated, everything was great. The food, atmosphere, service, etc.
Disappointing. After living around VH for a few years, I finally went to Noche - but was rather disappointed. The $3 Monday margaritas turned out to cost $5 (they tried to make some money on 5-o de May-o, I guess - but they were still pretty tasty. Their chips, however, were the worst nacho chips I have ever tasted - stale and greasy. Terrible combination! I didn't eat dinner, but my friends were rather disappointed with their fajitas. My recommendation: go to drink, not to eat.
Great Local Restaurant!.
We love this place! During the week- they have drink specials- we like to stop in for Monday's $3.00 Rita's- which are huge!!
The food and service are always great. I usually go for the crab cakes- with the chipotle mashed potatoes myself, but for my friends have tried the other dishes and were pleased as well. The quesadilla's are huge- and although are served as appetizers- would definitely be considered a meal in my book.
We like to sit at the bar or on the patio- if the weather is nice. Haven't sat in the other seats- as it seems cramped.
Noche for starting a casual night out. We had Crispy Chicken Tacos and Fish Tacos. I asked if they would put the pineapple and pepper salsa on my fish tacos in place of jalapeno tartar & spicy slaw. It was no problem. The tomatillo green sauce is good, the red is just average, and very good tri-color chips. We thought the beans lacked any seasoning and the rice was a little funky but I liked it. The fish was right out of the fryer and each had one large breaded strip. I tried my bud's chicken taco with Chipotle Cream & Cactus Strips. I liked it so much I wanted more. He thought it was too rich but I didn't think so. It had rice on it as well and a nice smokey flavor...must be the chipotle cream. Overall, the bill was under $25 w/o tip and the food was well worth what we paid.
A Favorite for Monday Dinner or Friday L. Everytime we've been to Noche we've experienced nothing but wonderful service and memorable food. Weeknight drink specials make this a perfect place to spend a few hours Monday evening recovering from the beginning of the week, but don't forget to stop in during weekend barhopping. Bartenders are more friendly than the girl next door, getting all sorts of information out of you as they pour perfect margaritas and hangover-curing Bloody Marys. Foodwise, so far my favorites are the pork tacos and the skirt steak salad, but everything has been mouth-wateringly delicious. I don't know how authentically Southwestern this is, but it sure tastes good.
great margaritas and bar. Noche has wonderful weeknight specials with their special margaritas of the evening. The "texas style" is wonderful and can be served with great, inexpensive appetizers if you request. The bar service is great, quick and personable with great drinks
