Editorial Review for Noche – by Philip Malkus
The Scene
A spatter of bright primary colors greets diners as they make their way from the entrance into the long, narrow dining room. The affordable, easygoing style of this neighborhood restaurant attracts a diverse crowd: stalwart scenesters starting their night with a light nosh; upwardly mobile 20- and 30-somethings sipping margaritas after work; and Emory seniors who nurse pitchers of beer and flirt with the upbeat, if slightly scatterbrained, servers.
The Food
This democratic menu, which is now exclusively tapas, caters to every taste imaginable--there are more than 40 choices. Dishes that adhere closely to the Spanish/Southwestern theme are the most successful: Juicy fried chicken with chipotle mashed potatoes, fish tacos with spiky jalapeno tartar sauce and cornmeal-crusted fried green tomatoes rate as consistent winners. Offerings that sound bland--fried potatoes, chicken and veggie skewer, hummus with pita--usually are. A silky, chocolatey variation of tres leches cake satisfies the sweet tooth.

Insider Tips
Where to SitThe breezy terrace in the back is in high demand. Call early and make reservations. If you're not opposed to eating indoors, you can typically snag a table on weekday nights without a reservation.
What to DrinkMargaritas, with their Key lime base, are sweet. For a stronger, less-syrupy version, try the Silver or Cabo Wabo variations.
Save MoneyOn Monday nights, enjoy all-you-can-eat tapas for $10. On Sundays, kick back with Dos Equis for a buck.

This is one my favorite places in Atlanta. The calamari comes with a flavorful garlic aioli sauce, the pulled pork is just like south ga bbq with a twist, the cheese plate is great for picky eaters (3 cheeses, apples, breadsticks, and dates), and the queso fundido is better than your average white cheese dip. The monday night AYCE has a different menu so don't come expecting to get your favorites for $10. Wednesday night there are $3 house wines and sangria. The tables are really close together but the food makes up for the lack of private conversation.
Pros: Calamari, Cheese Plate, Complimentary Valet, $3 House Wines on Wednesdays
Cons: Hostess

So I would imagine the food has to be good here or someone would have already had the hostess fired or taken it upon them self’s and put that bizzatch in her place. I'm from Clayton County and this doesn’t fly were im from. I’m planning going here next month. If I catch lip from some hostess who makes 6 bucks an hour, im pulling out the pimp h0 glove!
