I've had better for less $.
Working on Roswell Road doesn't offer much in food diversity, so I jumped at the first sushi spot I found. Unfortunately it was Circle Sushi, while the decor and atmosphere were great and modern, the food quantity and quality left much to be desired. It's not the best sushi I've ever had, and when getting an order to go, be warned, your soup will be packaged in a very very small cup (think the cone cups located near the water cooler size).
Thanks but no thanks, but I am so glad that Enzo's moved in down the street!
My favorite sushi place.
I've been going to Circle for about a year and a half now and have never been disappointed.
The food has always been excellent, the service always quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is open, yet intimate.
The sushi here is second to none. Even MF Sushi (which I adore) does not have much sushi that can compete (and none that isn't double the price) with Circle's sushi. Additionally, few sushi places have such an extensive menu as Circle. Circle's menu encompasses traditional sushi/sashimi, numerous house rolls, noodle soups, salads, tempura, you name it. Not only that, but if you want something that isn't on the menu they will happily oblige. Also, if you like having tea with your meal, they have a good selection ranging from macha to honeybush vanilla tea.
Delicious Sushi and quality ingredients!. I don't usually venture out of the city but am glad I did. This restaurant is a gem located off of Roswell Rd. nr. 400 and Northridge. If you happen to be in the area you will not be disappointed. Service is friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere was modern yet not stark, rather warm and seductive. The menu variety is plentiful and the prices keep people coming back. Quality of sushi, salad (not iceberg lettuce and extremely delicious), edamame, ice cream and fried bananas are 5 stars. The desserts are a must. Will definitely be coming back.
Great Sushi!. Circle Sushi is awesome. It is Japanese owned. Food is authentic. Atmosphere is modern Japanese decor. Restaurant is clean. I recommend this one.
Deeeelicious food. I brought some non-seafood eater friends here, and they loved it too. The food is fresh and is suited for athentic and americanized sushi lovers =)
I love this place!!!. The food is fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is quiet and elegant! The service has always been great too! There's nothing bad to say about Cirlce Sushi. It is hands down my favorite Sushi spot in all of Atlanta!!!
Sophisticated suburban sushi bar appeals to the American palate..
The Scene
A barely lit, spartan haven of black-and-gold chic, Circle Sushi transcends its suburban strip locale. Four booths dominate the center of the large room, while intimate tables rim the periphery. Minimalism extends to the wait staff. A seat at the small sushi bar in the back leads to especially slow service but a good look at the quality of the fish.
The Food
Choose carefully from this menu of inconsistent Japanese dishes. Starters tend to please, whether traditional--seaweed salad and miso soup--or adventurous, such as the slightly spicy tuna kimchee salad. Circle Sushi's real draw are its many rolls, in combinations perfect for those who like their fish cooked or smothered by other flavors. Americanized amalgams like the "volcano," "dynamite" and "Japanese bagel" litter the menu.
Great little spot in the burbs. The sushi here is excellent and the prices are quite good too. It's rare to find such a nice place outside the perimeter. Whenever I'm in Sandy Springs I try to make a point to get to Circle Sushi.
Japanese Paradise. This place is the key location for a date. Wonderful atmosphere and great food. You must sit at the sushi bar and chat with the chef! Totally awesome!
