Recommended Stylist. A bigger and flashier spa can make you feel alienated but my stylist always remembers me even though I come in every 3 months. She always starts with a great consultation and fantastic final results. Definately ask for Molly. Front desk staff could use some warming up, I always hate when there's no acknowledgment after you walk in the door. But when you get past them the shampoo people are very friendly and contrary to the other reviews I've never had to wait with Molly, she's always on time.

Not Worth IT!. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to have my hair styled and makeup done for a Christmas Party. I arrived 15 minutes early and 1-1/2 hours later they started with me....

The lady who was to style my hair took a break and another person after she was told I was waiting...

The only good thing out of this was the hair looked good and the make-up artist, was great. She noticed that I had been waiting and did my make up first..the ONLY person who paid attention to anything.

It was NOT worth the MONEY or the WAIT. Double booking and snobby front people won't get me to come back.

The "skill of stylist" ranking goes to the make-up artist only.

Thumbs down. I went to Don Shaw to have my hair colored. It ended up horrible! It was supposed to be red, but the front and roots ended up gothic black. They were congenial in correcting it later. My roots ended up burned, despite two deep conditioning treatments. The color was fine when I left, but I discovered that the entire back of my shirt was ruined due to bleach running down. I was promised I would get a call back. Three days later and four calls later, no one has had the courtesy to return my calls. No one seemed to be apologetic that I had to come back to get it fixed and my hair was burnt in the process. Not worth it!

Bring a good book. I've gone to DASS for years - primarily b/c I haven't found another stylist to replace the one I have now that is so-so.

My chief complaint about this place is the double-booking. You go in for an 11:30 appt and at 11:45, your stylist is still working on the previous client. At 12:10, you sit in the chair, and 5 mins later, another client sits down next to her. This happens EVERY time I come for a cut or color. They seem to let walk-ins come in and displace those that had an appt and were already there.

You can park Valet at Perimeter and they'll stamp you.

Modern. High class professionals in a clean & modern ambience display the most friendly and superb work.

Not to mention the owners with their unique carisma

Stylin' and smilin' :o). Todd (cut) and Shawn (color) are the BEST! I have never had as many compliments about my hair!! I never have a bad hair day with these guys!!
