Great Place to Workout!!!. The Gym Of Buckhead has been a great place for me to workout. I love the friendly atmosphere and all of the people there. Any time I have had a question about how to use a machine someone knowledgeable has been there to show me how to utilize the machine properly. There is definitely a sense of community that you don’t see at many other places. I have never run out of classes to try and the hours have been great since I like to workout in the mornings before I go to work. They offer everything from kettlebells to spin classes. For me this has been a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this gym for anyone that is interested in improving their level of fitness.

Worse Nightmare. I signed up for Dunwoody Fitness and soon enough after 6 weeks she, the owner, the 'body builder' closed the doors without any notice. In the meantime she collected all deposits and fees and advertised her so called Special Deal. No one knew in advance of this. Now she sent me collection for the rest of the money due and she refuses to return refunds. Everyone is upset. She ripped me off and so many others. She must have known that she is closing the GYM. Now she wants us to join her gym in Buckhead. I called the gym in buckhead but the manager was rude and not helpful at all. What money is due if you shut the doors and ripping people off? Don't even think of joining this gym. SCAMMER!

Bad News Gym. There are really serious legal and financial issues afoot here with lawsuits pending and talk of steroid use by trainers.

I would stay away from this sinking ship as legal action will soon overcome it.

DO NOT SIGN UP. This one is the WORST gym you can ever pick.

First

They talk you in to sign up 1 year contract form which you can never get out no matter what you do

Second

The gym is not better than any other place you can pick

Third

The gym is incredibly expensive for what they offer - you have to pay 50$ a month !!! for a year !!! which makes 600$ a year for something you can get everywhere else and after all...when you realize how screwed you are and how you could have picked a better place and decide to cancel the membership - SORRY...NO WAY...you are tied to pay us no matter if you use it or not. Even if something unexpected happens to you...and you are not able to go anymore...you're still paying.

no air, awful management. If you want to work out with air conditioning...this isn't your gym. If you're into hot yoga where you pour sweat and feel nauseous through out your workout, then this may be the place for you. The management in this gym is horrible and the service is even worse. The owner does not have any people skills and and her bootcamps are just as bad. A lot of the equipment is older with missing handlebars. I would not recommend this gym to anyone and I cannot wait until Lifefitness opens up down the street in a couple of years because then there will finally be a nice gym with air conditioning with hopefully better service. Although it won't take much to have better service considering this gym's is so bad!

No Air Conditioning. This gym has air conditioning where the nautilus machines are but no air conditioning in the cardio area or in the classroom area. If you want to ride a bike, do the Stairmaster or treadmill, you will be doing it where the temperature is 100 degrees or more. It has been suggested to the owner to cover the windows where the sun beats down, add fans and a portable air conditioner since the building won't support air in all locations of the gym. But the owner won't put out the money to take care of this, or add shades to cover the windows where the sun beats down, add more fans or a portable air conditioner.

The gym does have some very good personal trainers, but if you enjoy group classes and cardio machines, you might want to consider another gym. It is much too hot to handle in the summer heat!
