Not an enjoyable experience for me. I found this place through Groupon, and it looks like I should I have used it for the massage rather than the facial. I love buying Groupons because it gives me the opportunity to try new places at a lower cost.

The second I got on the table to start the facial my esthetician, Alla, started trying to sell me other services. I was in sales for many years, so I don't mind hearing a pitch or two. I am respectful, and I'll listen with an open-mind. With that being said, I expect the same amount of respect in return. I am at a spa for a reason. It is supposed to be a relaxing experience, but not this time. She spoke negatively about other spas I had been to and made me feel like an idiot for using any and all products I had ever put on my face. On top of all of that, the facial hurt, and I mean hurt! I have had quite a few, and I don't think they are supposed to be that painful. She also shaved my face. Yes, she SHAVED my face. I had a covering over my eyes, but after a few seconds of a strange scraping feeling, I asked what was going on. At that point, half of my face had been shaved, and there wasn't anything I could do about it. It would have been nice if she would have asked me before doing that procedure. When she explained the steps that would be taken in the beginning, she neglected to mention that she would be removing hair from my face.

Even after the frustration I experienced during the facial, I was interested in seeing a few of their products. I had read positive reviews of them online. Once I stepped out of the room, she already had 4 or 5 products for me to look at. After allowing her to try to explain the products, I eventually stopped her and asked what the price was of each. I'm obviously already interested if I didn't say no to the pitch, so please tell me the price when I ask for it. She gave me the price of the cleanser and then went back in to full-blown sales pitch rather than telling me the other prices. At that point, I said I wasn't interested and left.

I think the spa has potential in general. I have read quite a few positive reviews, so hopefully my experience was due my esthetician. I won't be returning. It was clean and the front desk was friendly.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I was hoping that you would get to see it. To be clear about the Dermaplaning procedure, I do understand that it removed old skin from my face, but it also removed ALL of the hair as well. I want to make sure that others who read this review are not confused about the procedure. I hope you have the opportunity to speak with Alla and advise her to allow her clients to enjoy their time at your spa! Having someone try to sell you the entire hour isn't enjoyable. Also, speaking harshly of all spas and products that are not available in your store isn't necessary either. I hope this feedback has helped, and you are able to coach her in the right direction.

services and products. I have not been too recently to Dermed. However, for a long time I was a regular there.

I would love to return. Always, clean, nice, relaxing, and professional. If it were only closer to midtown or Buckhead, I would be there regularly.

Appointments are well scheduled. They are good about keeping up with who worked with you on last visits and even exactly which products were used and purchased.

Services tried: Massage, Hydrating facials, Eyebrow waxing, Eyelash dying, Hyperpigmentation treatments, Antioxidant facial, and massage.

All were done well. Left me leaving refreshed and happy- what a spa day is supposed to be.

LOVE this spa. I have been going to Institut DERMed for awhile for facials and massages but just got my first microdermabrasion which was awesome- my skin looks amazing. The atmosphere is really nice and super clean.

Had to write a review because I really love this spa and it's the only place I'll go- mainly because they offer massage but also have a ton of knowledge about skin care and skin treatments.

Love them- Highly recommend!

worst session & laser tech i have ever had. very unprofessional, even for a "spa", much less a laser/med facility.

I went for laser hair removal & was rushed through the appointment due to another client was running late and he had to get to a 3:30p football game!

Unethical behavior: I was quoted a price without them even looking at the hair to see if i was a good candidate for laser. I found out later from a dermatologist that gray hair could not even be removed with a laser. Also, they must have "magic" lasers too, i was told it would only take 3 sessions to remove the follicles from various body areas, when everyone else in the business quotes 5 or 6 treatments minimum to clear an area.

They seem to want your money, but without regard for your health or what you really need to solve your skin problems.

True skin care experts. I was looking for some Jane Iredale mineral makeup to cover my break outs. I walked into Institut?Dermed in Buckhead and was greeted by a friendly skin care technician (Evelyne) who found the perfect foundation match for my skin. She offered to customize a skin care program for me, to solve my break out problem. I scheduled a free consultation and a facial. Wow! I never relax and I felled asleep during the facial. It felt AMAZING. I?ve been using Dermed?s products for 1 month now and I love them! Guess what? No more break outs. Evelyne is a true skin care expert and a gem.

Best in it's class. Institut' Dermed Buckhead is located near the Landmark diner on Roswell Road. The staff is very professional and helpful. The Estheticians and Massage Therapist are very knowledgeable and skilled. At Institiut Dermed you can expect results from the services and products. The products are a blend of botanical and pharmaceutical grade ingredients that you will not find at your average spa.

You can get a complete and comprehensive skin analysis to include using a skin scope. All of the services are customized to meet your individual needs. I highly recommend going hear for phenomenal service. They are having a great promotion this month. $45 gets you a 45 min. facial.

so grateful. I have Rosacea and have been embarresed by it and it took a a lot to even go for help. I can't say how I feel because I just don't have the words. These people have changed my life. The treatments are working the products are working and Jane Iredale make up is the best!!! Thank you Kim, thank you Kelly, thank you Dermed.

Love Endermology. I found it when I was looking for a quick fix for a bikini ready body. I purchased a series of Endermology sessions and just love the service I receive from Jenny Rose! She's attentive, gentle, and nice to talk to. She gives great information and works honestly and respectfully around the results you desire. It's a great procedure that makes you look and feel so beautiful. The place is nice, clean, professional, etc., however, I will admit, some of the ladies at the front can be a bit spicy at times. But, the services are worth the occasional cattiness (often not-directed at client, but you get the sense there's some tension). Then, there's the one or two front attendants that will literally give you their lunch! I will continue going to DerMed.

Atlanta's Premier Spa for "ALL" your needs!!. This spa is truly exceptional! As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by the friendly receptionst who was very pleasant. I did not have an appointment and was primarily looking for information regarding spa services, within 5 minutes I was able to meet with an esthetician for a consultation. The esthetician was very knowledgable about the different treatments, services and products offered at the spa and gave me an analysis to my issue and the best course of action to alleviate it. What I appreciated the most was that she was genuinely interested in finding me a solution and also made an effort to find me something that was within my budget (not trying to sell me something I didn't need). All in all I ended up getting a facial which was extremely refreshing, the aura, scents, lighting, people and service make this medi-spa a diamond compare to all others in the city & it is very convienent right in the North Buckhead community not nestled to much in the city but close enough for those in the area. I will be purchasing my package next week and look forward to working with the staff at Instiut Dermed for all my skin needs.
