Horseradish Grill is Atlanta's oldest continuously operating restaurant. It is a culinary tradition based on seasonal freshness, ethnic diversity, and simply prepared, highly flavorful food. We embrace the philosophy that there is an immediacy to good food and cooking; that there is value in understanding the connection between a region, its history and its people, the seasons and natural rhythm of life. The Main Dining Room gives a cozy and intimate feel near the fireplace, while the Garden Room is the perfect spot for your bridal luncheon, holiday party or business meeting. The outside patio provides what has been voted as the most beautiful and romantic dining area in Atlanta.

Horseradish Grill has been around forever and is a great choice for al fresco dining or before a show at Chastain Park. Their refined southern cooking always hits the spot and they consistently have one of the best shrimp and grits plates in the city.
simple and good – Went there for a sunday brunch. Good service, nice southern-style food. I was expecting a bit more emphasis on southern ingredients: scuppernongs, sassafras, chestnuts, molasses etc. But it was good none the less I had the sweet potato biscuit and my only gripe was the use of those egg poaching rings. Go freestyle guys plus one egg was cooked solid while the other was lovely and runny.
Fantastic!! – We went with another couple on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. It is hard to have a bad table in such a small resturant. Our waiter made us feel very relaxed. He did not try to rush us through dinner. The food was GREAT! I highly recommend the flank steak. Great martinis, great desserts, I can't wait to go back. They appreciate your business and understand that you want a great experience if you are going to spend $125 per couple on a meal.
Wasting a Beautiful Location – I recently dined at Horseradish after hearing rave reviews about this restaurant. I cannot see what the hype is about. The service at this restaurant is in dire need of an upgrade. My waitress was completely unattentive, never coming to our table. My party never received anything we asked for, including straws, water, refills. I finished my glass of wine halfway through my meal, but since my waitress was MIA, I had to finish my meal without any beverage. The food here is not worth the price. I imagine this restaurant has high ratings because of the influx of Northerners in this town who now have a love of southern food. Any true southerner though can cook up a better meal for less money. I expected a more creative menu. The location is so beautiful and peaceful; it is a shame that this overrated restaurant is taking up this space.
Enjoyed it very much for the 2nd time! – Been here twice. Once with family several years ago and once with g-friend. Excellent food (southern flair) and good wine selection. I thought food and atmosphere (which are both great) were well priced. Service here is excellent so it is a good place to entertain people important to you. Definitely give it a try.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! – There's almost no word to describe it - it's wonderful. Great quiet, relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food. Don't leave without trying the oatmeal spice cake for dessert - and ask for the recipe from the chef, it's become a family favorite!
When my family's in town, we always go - it's just great.
Different Dining experience – The interior was quite different inside from your typical Atlanta restaurant. The service was very good, and they food was great. The waiter recommended a wine that went perfect with the dinner and I even bought a copule of bottles the next day. The dessert menu is great. I will be back again.
