Horseradish Grill is Atlanta's oldest continuously operating restaurant. It is a culinary tradition based on seasonal freshness, ethnic diversity, and simply prepared, highly flavorful food. We embrace the philosophy that there is an immediacy to good food and cooking; that there is value in understanding the connection between a region, its history and its people, the seasons and natural rhythm of life. The Main Dining Room gives a cozy and intimate feel near the fireplace, while the Garden Room is the perfect spot for your bridal luncheon, holiday party or business meeting. The outside patio provides what has been voted as the most beautiful and romantic dining area in Atlanta.

Horseradish Grill has been around forever and is a great choice for al fresco dining or before a show at Chastain Park. Their refined southern cooking always hits the spot and they consistently have one of the best shrimp and grits plates in the city.
good foof – The food was serve well.. and the service was superb ! They were very accommodating and courteous. Keep it up !
Wonderful service – We visited this place few weeks back and we were not delighted during our stay there. The food they served was not outstanding. It was not bad but it was not exceptional neither. It's just the type that you can easily get from any other ordinary restaurant. The service was good though and staff was accommodating.
Always consistently good – Every time i have been to Horseradish, the food is solid. Not going to knock your socks off, but very good. And the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I def. recommend.
Overpriced, inedible – Will not go back.
Country steak needed hacksaw to cut.
Potatoes were greasy.
Corned beef hash recipe was not normal.
Tasted greasy and corned beef chewy
Shrimp were chewy.
Biscuits fell apart.
not consistant – I especially went to Horseradish Grill to have the shrimp and gritts that I always order. They are usually great. Last night, I sent the small (which were to be jumbo) shrimp back because they tasted like rubber. The waiter kindly, sent them back and brought another round. The second round was far worse. The rubber texture from over cooking was not the standard I have experienced over the years.
I was really disappointed since I chose the restaurant and wanted to show my date, a great place to dine.
Long Time Favorite – Horseradish Grill has a strange name because I've never seen any horseradish on the menu, but this is an incredible place for gourmet southern food. I love the mini bisquits with peach jam.
Wonderful! – Our "party of 4" had a wonderful dinner experience this past weekend. We were quickly seated and our waiter was wonderful. The appetizers/wine/dinner...all fantastic!!! Beautiful location too!!!
Great evening! – Dined last night after hearing about the Horseradish for a long time. I enjoyed the chopped salad and ordered the venison due to the waitress recommendation. The salad was good and my venizon was tremendous. I have only tried it once prior and would order it again. The atmosphere is very nice and I will be back for special event type dinners. Also, the staff was highly professional.
Best Dining Experience in Atlanta – Last evening was our anniversary and our first visit to the Horseradish Grill. It had been recommended to us by my step-daughter. By far this was our best dining experience since relocating to Atlanta in 1993. The food, drinks, wine selection and wait staff were all excellent. My wife started with muscles in white wine sauce. I generally do not care for shell fish but these were excellent, this was followed by a port wine poached pear salad and finally lamb chops. I started with pulled pork, coleslaw on a cornmeal pancake, salad and grilled mountain trout. All were exceptional and served perfectly by a highly trained professional staff. The high light of the evening was dessert, Kentucky Spiced Oatmeal Cake topped with caramel ice cream. To characterize this amazing treat as "to-die-for" would be an understatement.
Our thanks to all at the Horseradish for making this a night to remember, in particular our waiter who went way beyond what we have grown to expect in the Atlanta area - we will return and we will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends. They have complimentary valet parking as do many restaurants however, the Horseradish Grill does it better than anyone. The attendant watches as people get up from their table and he remembers who drove what - when you arrive at the parking lot he has your car waiting so you don't have to wait - amazing.
Wonderful Dinner Spot – Horseradish Grill is a top notch restaurant. All of the food was amazing, from the fried green tomatoes and North Carolina barbeque for appetizers, to the honey glazed duck for dinner. The dessert was especially delicious: the Kentucky spice cake is to die for. Complimented with a great wine list and impeccable service, we had such a great night here!
