Great Authentic Cuban Food - Affordable lunch prices. I have visited a few cuban restaurants through out Atlanta. This is so far one of the better ones. The food is authentic, great food, and awesome lunch specials. I met the owners wife Maria whom is Cuban and she was a sweet heart. They have lived in Atlanta since the 60's. You can tell their heart is in Atlanta but by the taste in the food their soul is in Cuba! I moved here from Miami about 4 years ago and it's hard to find good authentic Cuban food at an affordable price. El cortadito was delicious. I will be back!
LOVE this place!.
It's right near me in Embry Hills - just off Spaghetti Junction, so a great location.
I drive to whatever Cuban restaurant opens in Atlanta, but the best ends up being right here by me!
A friend comes up from Candler Park to "visit me" but it's really to go get chocolate cake at Little Cuba. I have to bring a former Atlantan sandwiches & maduros from there when I visit him in SC.
Always enough for two meals! Always delicioso!
Great Cuban food. This is our favorite Cuban restaurant in ATL. We've tried other places, but we invariably end up back here for a good cuban meal. The marinade on the meats is excellent, especially the pork, which has a nice tangy flavor. It's located in a non-descript strip-mall, but don't let this deter you. The food is excellent!
Best Cuban Food in Georgia. I'm Cuban and originally from Miami, FL. Believe me when I say I've eaten good Cuban food. I've been living in Georgia for about 3 years and I have searched high and low for a good cuban restaurant. I finally came across "LIttle Cuba" and by far it is the closest to my favoraite Miami cuban restaurants. The selection, preparation and taste of the food is just what I was hoping to find here in Georgia. The atmosphere and staff what I missed - and found. I live in Alpharetta but go out of my way just to get that authentic cuban meal. THANK YOU SO MUCH "LITTLE CUBA" for providing me and my family with our traditional cuban food. I never though I would be able to find it here in Georgia. A DEFINET MUST GO IF YOU WANT CUBAN FOOD - YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.
from a regular guy.
I read the reviews on here and decided to try for myself. First thing i looked for was restaurant health score. after searching everywhere i couldnt find it, so i asked the waitress. Turns out it was hidden behind a place card and glasses. Score was 85, next i tested the waitress out.-perla was friendly and prompt A +
food was below average. Ive traveled the world and had lots of different food,so i'm open to new exp. this was salty and greasy. I got steak and rice. Mom got pollo and rice. Her meat was tough, she said the chicken is from when fidel was in power. Should have eaten jamaican or something. Very disappointing, but not expensive. cheesecake was frozen, her stomach was turning as we got in the car.
do your homework first. I love Cuban food. And I was about to go out and get some at Little Cuba when I checked the county health rating. I'm sure the food is wonderful, but I suggest you check it before going.
Best Cuban food I've eaten. Charming restaurant, good service, great food!. We love this restaurant and have taken several friends here, who only have good things to say as well. The restaurant is in a strip mall, but it is very nicely decorated and is a colorful and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The waitstaff is friendly and prompt. The menu is huge and full of classic cuban dishes and surprising house creations. They have a nice wine selection, a coffee bar and an impressive dessert case. The prices are reasonable. I always leave with leftovers and a desire to come back again soon.
Horrible CUSTOMER Experience!!!!!!.
we came by at 9:30last night to eat after a movie. We walked in and asked if they were still serving and they said yes. we ordered our appetizer ane meals. 10 minutesd later we got both our appetizer and meal. we asked the waiter to keep our meal plates hot so we could eat our appetizer and he at first ignored the request..we had to ask twice when he then glared at us and said the kitchen is closed. What??!! The last I recall you told us that you were still serving and it was not 10pm your stated closing time.
What bothered me more than anything is you then proceeded to talk about us in cuban WHILE WE WERE THERE!! You were not subtle and when i got fed up and asked for an apology you said nothing was your fault and turned your back to me. Dont eat here unless you like being treated as if you were a 2nhd claSS CITIZEN
Easily one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. I just stumbled upon it by chance about a year ago and am glad that I did. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is as authentic as it gets. By far, the best Cuban food I've ever had.
Comida Criolla Verdadera--Real Cuban Food. I spent 6 months in Havana as a college senior and I grew up in Florida. I've been to Las Palmeras and Papis, but listen up: THIS IS REAL CUBAN FOOD! They've got by far the best black beans. Their masitas are killer and their lunch specials rival any restaurant, cuban or not. For under $10 you can get black beans and rice, the meat special (e.g., ropa vieja), and fried plantains. True, it would be better with a small salad, but that can be added for $2. It's not the most convenient location for us in-towners, but the drive is worth it, and if you work on the top of the perimeter, this is definitely your lunch spot, well this and Casa Vieja. Try their batidos (milkshakes). I like the mamey batido. Go during lunch and get the Ethel #1 or #2. You get plenty of food, enough for the next day too!
