Tips for Grand Shop of Georgia

Really bad experience. Had no choice but to take my car there, as it started shaking violently while driving nearby. Spent 4 hours sitting there after they figured out what was wrong with my car after the first hour, but took another 3 to determine they couldn't get the right parts to fix it. Did replace spark plugs that didn't need to be replaced (and charged me over $250 to do so), and according to the dealership where I took my car to be fixed today put in really cheap spark plugs, and they were loose. Oh, and by the way while I was sitting there for those 4 hours no one offered me so much as a glass or bottle of water, and no water was even available for purchase.

I've used this shop for two cars over three years and have had good service and fair pricing. They worked on a 2003 Hyundai sedan and did a 150,000 mile service over a year ago that has kept that car running 100% ever since. They also worked on a 1996 Isuzu for me and fixed a water valve and pump, among other things, and they have their own tow truck and picked up my car when it was overheated. These guys are OK with me!

Grand ? really. Very little oversight around this place. My car was kept for several days& finally I had to go & ask what was going on. The girl in the front had no idea & had to go looking for the mechanic & he wasn't there so they told me to" come back later & talk to the mechanic" I couldn't believe that they didn't call with an estimate or explain what the problem was. It seemed like they just changed parts and hoped that would solve the problem.Big disappointment.

Incompetent idiots !. Brought my jeep in for check engine service . Was told I needed new sensors and that that might not solve the problem . Paid $600 for sensors . Still not working . Was told I needed a new computer module . Another $600 !

Screw that . Brought it to another shop and was told the new oxygen sensors they put in were the wrong ones . $ 200 fix and on my way . Stay away from Grand Shop on Buford Hwy !
