Romantic Atmosphere, Incredible Food – Soho is delightful, from the atmosphere to the service to the exquisite food. Nestled in downtown Vinings,it is the place to see and be seen on Friday and Saturday nights. As for the food, don't miss the calamari-it is one of their specialties. They have an extensive wine list and a knowledgable bartender and staff. This is a great restaurant to take visitors from out of town as the experience is always perfect.
Good food – it's a nice restaurant for special occasion, service is ok, food was good, dessert average, good wine list.
Excellent Dining Experience! – SoHo offers a relaxing environment in the heart of Vinings Village. Don't miss the appetizers, especially their style of calamari and fried green tomatoes. My tamarind sea bass was amazing and the scallops were also incredible. The service is top notch, the wine selection is great, and the food is simply fantastic. The chef has mastered the art of pleasing the palette with the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and other tasty flavor combinations in SoHo's dishes. SoHo caters to meat and potatoes people as well as those who enjoy a more exotic flair in their food. I can't wait to go back soon!
Great scene, Fine food – Soho offers a relaxed 'Vinings Casual' atmosphere coupled with some of the finest fare I have had since arriving in Atlanta 10 months ago. My wife and I began with the lump crab cakes that rank as the some of the best ever. The appetizer for two could virtually serve as an entre. Dinner consisted of veal Marsala (wife) and blackened grouper for me. Both were superb. The great food, attentive service and uniqueness that is Vinings combined for a great evening.
A warm, romantic setting, small plates, and a wonderful wine list make the meal at Soho. – The Scene
Soho's interior is downright sexy. A warm glow prevails in the two dining rooms thanks to dark woods, amber faux-finished walls and plenty of flickering candlelight. The low-key ambiance is enhanced by attractive contemporary art. Opt for a table overlooking the old-fashioned streetlights of Vinings Square and start with a glass of wine from the extensive list. Service is mature and assured.
Consider making a meal of appetizers, as some of the entrees are too ambitious. Don't miss tuna 2 Ways, a glorious pairing of silky, wasabi-seared medallions of ahi nestled on pickled ginger and a tower of pristine tuna tartare layered with avocado. General Joey's tender calamari are quick fried in a light tempura, scattered with diced peppers and glazed with a delicious ginger-soy sauce. A succulent duck entree is marred by soggy noodles and greens. Rich chocolate bread pudding redeems the evening.
Great – The food was great, the service was also very good. I recommend the calamari, and the sea bass.
awful experience – OK...Here is my experience. Made reservations for a March, 2003 Friday night. Reservations for 830 and my date and I arrived at 820. We were told to wait. We waited at the bar and had a few drinks. 9 comes around. No table. 930, we finally get seated by not-so-nice hostess. During this time, there were at least 4 couples who were in the same situation (why does this place even take reservations!) Time to order and the waiter treats us rudely because we don't order wine. Hint: we had drank enough at the bar on a empty stomach and we didnt want any more. The waiter was not attentive and the food was average. Much better places with alot less trouble.
STYLE & SOPHISTICATION – INTERESTING STYLE WITH AN EDGE. GOOD FOOD AND GREAT MARTINI'S. THIS IS AN AREA OF BEAUTIFUL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS CALLED VINNINGS JUBILEE.
THERE ARE SOME TABLES WITH VIEWS OF THIS AREA.
VERY DIVERSE WINE MENU, WITH WINE TASTINGS. PLENTY OF FREE PARKING. OUTSIDE DINNING IN NICE WEATHER
Good but no Cigar – Soho was good, with a nice ambience. The shopping center it is in is cute and reminds me of a new hampshire coastal town. The food was good not great. The fish was better than average and seemed to be fresh. It doesn't make my top 10 in Atlanta, though.
Great Food, Great Wine, Great Service – There's really not much more I can add. From a friendly attentive waitstaff to great suggestions on food and drink. This place has it all.
