Better than Bones! – My buddy works for Buckhead Beef and he told me about this place. They serve higher quality steaks than Bones and Ruths Chris, but the prices are literally half of those places. Unbelievable marbling and flavor. You will be amazed. Steak connoisseurs, this is the place for you! They have an awesome bar and the managers are secretly sports fanatics, so the game is always on one of their tv's without it becoming a sports bar atmosphere though. Great place to take a date as $100 will go much further here (and fill you up) than at any trendy little tapas joint. Awesome restaurant!
Traditional Good Food – Garrisons is a great place to eat outside on a beautiful sun shiny day, breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner!
Food is always great and on time! Love the steak and loaded mashed potatoes!!!! Great tables for 2!!!
When In Vinnings, It's O.K.! – We love Vinnings. Such a quaint little area. But we must tell everyone about Garrison's. The worst steaks, we have ever tasted in our lives. The drinks are weak, and the service is terrible. Alot of fun places to eat in Vinnings, but this is not one.
Outside Brunch – This is my favorite place to go for sitting-outside brunch. The view from the patio is nice, the service is top-notch, and the food is consistently good. I've never been disappointed.
Great Service, but cold steaks. – Ordered a 12oz ribeye and was served cold... bar is great.
The best steaks! – Dark, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. Amazing steaks and salads. I'll definately be recommending it to family and friends!
best steak i've ever had! – We were in town from Houston on business. I can't tell you how many steaks i've eaten in Texas and Kansas City but none compared to the rib-eye I had at Garrisons. I ordered it medium well. It came solid red all the way through but didn't have that rawish texture I hate. It was perfect. BEST STEAK EVER.

A dark, masculine interior of deep-cushioned booths and rich wood suggests a place where stodgy men make deals between bites of Porterhouse and sips of single malt scotch. In reality, however, this strip-mall steakhouse caters to a mostly middle-aged crowd of suburbanites looking for good service and solid American food.
Garrison's has become a Vinings favorite thanks to its steak and seafood standards. Tender, flavorful steaks cooked under steakhouse broilers are juicy and precisely cooked-to-order. Sauteed sea bass with rock shrimp is fresh and prepared with a delicate touch. Sides and appetizers are equally conservative, with such crowd-pleasers as fried calamari, fried green tomatoes and gooey garlic mashed potatoes. Homemade desserts, like a heaping portion of chocolate mousse cake and an oh-so-Southern, gooey pecan pie, are kid-pleasing good.
Great Steakhouse – I've been to nice steakhouses all over the country and I honestly think Garrison's is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The prices, compared to other steakhouses of its caliber, are very reasonable and the restaurant has a cozy, intimate atmosphere that makes for a nice evening for two. The meat is as good as Bone's or Chop's, but you can eat without the formality or "stuffiness" of those top tier steakhouses.
Blackened! – This is our favorite mid to upper level steakhouse in Atlanta. You must try the steaks blackened, the house specialty. The side items are above average, but who goes to a steakhouse for those? The desserts are divine. I could make myself sick on the white chocolate cheesecake. Highly recommended!
