I have always boarded my dog here and colleen the owner is very accomadating. Ive known this shop since it first opened. To the ones that read this, working in the animal industry is not an easy task. I myself too deal with animals, and I know the negativity that comes along with dealing with people precious pets. You have to be more worried with chain grooming shops such as petco, etc. who dont take the time to really care for the animals. And I know for fact my dog gets special care at vip

I love VIP! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They put the welfare of the animals first no matter what. I witnessed first hand how all the employees treated each animal as if they were his or her own! You can rest assured knowing that when you leave your pet with them they will be loved, respected and cared for like they would at home! I will always trust them with my pet care needs!

I live in historic Vinings, and this is right down the road. I have had close friends that boarded their beloved pets there and were very happy. I just got my Princess groomed there last week, after a reccommendation from a neighbor and was more than pleased. I will admit I am a litlle nervouse to be boarding her there for the first time this weekend, but I was left with no cause for concern after the visit last week.

I just want to let everyone know that this is the worst dog groomer I have ever been to! I took my 1 year old toy poodle Starbrite here for a groom after moving out of the city to smyrna and asked for a standard poodle cut tight around the legs short on the body and long on the head and ears. Simple enough I would have thought but what was done to him was the exact opposite, they shaved his entire body and did not follow my directions at all. After seeing starbrite I realized that they must have not ever groomed a poodle before. I have added some photos of the clipper burn he got on his face as well as the cut on his toe. I will never take any of my pets here again and if you Love your animal you would not either.

I agree, the reviews look fake in light of my experience. Do NOT trust your pets to...(wait for it)..Vinings Important Pets in Atlanta GA. Yeah- the irony is not lost on me! I booked my pure bred Ragdoll there for the weekend- when she was picked up, she was hissing at the employee (who refused to try to take her out), she even hissed at my dad (who she adores) when he tried to take her out of her filthy cage sitting on a dirty floor (which was said to be a "suite" when she was left). She IS a Ragdoll- they DON'T get pissed at anything! I can't imagine what they did to make her hiss at anyone! Her paws were dirty, her blanket was wet and she was scared. She hid inside her carrier- she never does that- she's always ready to get out and play! I saw a picture of it and I'm sick over it. I called and who ever called me back said, the cages are cleaned 3 times a day...well not the cage they had my kitty in- got the picture to prove it. I trusted them with my beautiful kitten and they told me she must have gotten wet playing with the water- This cat does not play with water! And she didn't bring in dirt on her beautiful white coat to mess up their cage with! And.... (wait for it)....the owner is not available because she is with her pet who is sick. Yeah- I know how it feels when your pet is hurting and you can't do anything- or in this case....when you pet is neglected and the hotel does nothing. I feel really bad...for trusting these people with my four legged kid. Im sick about this. PS just for the record: I REFUSED to take my money back from the owner who would not believe me- dispite the fact that I refused a refund. She kept saying "I have good reviews" Well now you have a bad one. I wouldn't leave my house mouse here. This IS NOT about money its about my kitten- Don't go here if your pets are very important to you!

FAKE REVIEWS, BE CAREFUL. I almost took my dog to be boarded here, but upon closer examination realized that all the positive reviews appeared to be FAKE!! They are simply duplicate copies of generic good reviews reposted over and over by different user names, and some are even just the first few lines of the BAD reviews, cut short to appear positive. THIS IS SHADY!! The only reviews that appear to be genuine are the negative ones, which state things like the place reeks of urine, their belongings came back soaked in urine, the dog didn't appear to have been let outside or given water in 3 days, and/or the pet came back from grooming with burns and cuts. Be careful- I ended up deciding against this facility because the review situation seemed so wrong.
