In Short – Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep booths done up in fine upholstery and lit from above by pin spotlights. Burgers, prime rib and steaks are the specialties of the house, but the menu also includes salmon, salads, pork chops and roasted chicken.

I loved the Houstons on Windy Hill. I have been there a few times, and I must say they are consistent. The valets are great, better than the norm. The food is good, and fast. The dessert is to die for. The staff always seems chipper, without trying too hard. Love-it. Food not so badly priced.

Great spot to share a bottle of wine and appetizers with friends

Last night was my first visit to Houston's and I would definitely return. My girlfriends and I made an post-work pitstop here, shared a bottle of wine with the spinach and salmon appetizers. The wine list is fairly extensive, the food was tasty and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. Of special note, I highly recommend the Apple Cobbler dessert!!! I am typically a chocolate dessert kind of gal, but this is sweet & savory, warm & cold (ice cream) and entirely divine.

- Cons: Chain-like atmosphere

This store has more student server feels than other location.
"Giving the distinct impression that they thought they were working in a much higher-end establishment (although they clearly lacked the skills or experience to do so). ",,,someone said ,,,,
and noticed something smelled,,,might be carpet or wood table,,,, not sure.
