I have been going to First Baptist Atlanta on and off since 2009. I have visited other churches in the Atlanta area and First Baptist Atlanta is definately the best church in the area. I decided to go through the membership process last summer and it was the best decision I've made since moving to Atlanta. Dr. Stanley doesn't sugarcoat anything-he tells it like it is! First Baptist Atlanta has a great music ministry-Rodney Brooks does a great job with the choir and orchestra-it's old school with the volume turned up. The people in the church are friendly and very welcoming to everyone. Even though First Baptist Atlanta is a mega church with 15,000 members-I don't feel that anonymity from a mega church-it has a small town church feel. First Baptist Atlanta has a new associate pastor-Anthony George who came from Aloma Baptist church in Winter Park, FL is awesome-he is truly anointed to preach God's word. If you're looking for a church in the Atlanta area, look no further-First Baptist Atlanta is the place to go!
