Best groomer ever!
by LilyH
On the recommendation of Dunwoody Animal (in the same plaza and also excellent) I stopped by to ask about getting my matted Maine Coon cat groomed. The helper suggested a time that not only worked with my schedule, but when no dogs were scheduled. Robin herself took care of my 16 pound, very spoiled and not very happy cat. She took time to answer my questions about how I could keep him tidy at home and got out all his knots without having to shave anything. The price? $5. As you can imagine, the tip was bigger than the bill!
Used to be a good grooming salon...not anymore!

I brought my old dog to Robins for years and was always pleased. The cuts were good and the price was great! I had seen several good groomers come and go including Andy, Mary, and Andrea. None of these great groomers are at Robins anymore, but I wanted to keep using them with my new puppy. After 4 visits I have given up. Robin does not even try to keep the facility clean and seems to not care about the quality that is being produced. I tried 4 times with my new dog to find someone I liked there. Robin does a good haircut, but wont even talk to me. I tried two other groomers and was not happy with the results. If you do decide to try out Robins make sure you do not use Cinnamon! She will act as sweet as can be but the haircut is horrible!!! The price is no longer cheaper than her competition so what is the benefit of using Robins when you can go elsewhere to a nice clean facility with happy groomers who do a good job.
- Pros: location
- Cons: bad attitudes and bad haircuts
