Great place to dine!!.
I have eaten here on several occasions and I am always pleased. The venue has a nice calming atmosphere, it isn't noisy and even the restrooms are kept nice and clean. The wait staff are polite and provide great customer service and my food is always delicious. I love their Shea crab soup and salad. I also like their bacon wrapped oysters. If you are in the dunwoody area I recommend stopping in.

Great restaurant!.
I am a regular customer at this restaurant. Some of the don't miss items are the New Orleans Shrimp, Prime Rib, and the salad that comes with the meal is the bes side salad you will get ever. They give you honey covered crousants that are excellent.

The Corned Beef is To Die For.
All these negative reviews surpise me. I found the atmosphere great and the food delicious.
They have the best corned beef in all of Atlanta. Goldberg's corned beef is good, but Joey D's gets the prize. I appreciated the good half-sour pickel that came with it, was like being back in NY.
The air conditioning is up too high, I was freezing, but still the corned beef was worth it.

Poor Food preparation.
waited 25 minutes for a medium hamnburger. came out bloody rare. sent back. ten minutes later, came back, still a bit rare but on same bloody roll with burned cheese toping. For a "steak" place suggest you avoid at all costs

Order the ribs!.
Tasty salad, even better bread, and fantastic ribs. For my money, one of the three best places for ribs in the city. Nice casual ambience, usually busy, but never a long wait. Friendly staff as well.

Yum!.
I ate at Joey D's with my bf the other night and i LOVED it. We went back the next day for lunch! It was awesome. Their French Dip.....Chicken Sandwich, Salads...HONEY MUSTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am only naming the simple food i eat. My man had a steak and he said it was delicious (hard to please since he thinks he can cook the best steak in the world :) ). Try it out. It is a must. Then take a few steps to the bar and finish the night!

Business-by-day and single-by-night is how this Perimeter steakhouse rolls..
This restaurant proves there are two sides to every coin: a traditional steakhouse early and a singles bar after dark. Located in the bustling Perimeter area north of the city, this New York-cum-Bayou locale draws midday meet-ers and meat-eaters while an after-work crowd convenes for cool drinks and frisky diversions. A top-notch treat for business lunches or a romantic dinner for two, feast on heavy-handed entrees like seared filet mignon or for lighter fare, munch a savory sandwich or crisp salad. The easy ambience of light parquet, airy ceiling fans and full walls of windows balance the relaxed vibe with the businessmen aura. After the families are tucked away in the surrounding 'burbs, the accommodating staff hosts regulars and visitors and serves up lethally mixed cocktails and beer selections from the towering six-tier bar.
High Marks
"These young wait staff were amazing, courteous & most helpful. They really made my party a success..." (GingerMattiace, Citysearch user)
"Great place for afterwork drinks or a date. It has unique bar and great patio with live music." (LML2007, Citysearch user)
Low Marks
"...the service was good but the food left much to be desired. The menu is extremely limited, as is the wine list." (businessbrokerbob, Citysearch user)
"The salad was fair at best; very little flavor. The steak looked like a large charcoal briquette; the outside was burned, while the inside was very rare." (travelermike, Citysearch user)
