I KNOW THIS IS A BIT LONG, BUT PLEASE READ! YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED. I SHOULD HAVE READ UP ON THE REVIEWS BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY!!!

I used Hound's Tooth last a couple of weeks ago to have a large room cleaned in my home. The cleaning did not take up any of the stains and the man that came out to clean the carpet was a little rude and over charged me from what they quoted me over the phone. I was not going to complain about any of this, but two days later a very strong mildew smell was coming from that room. It smells terrible!! So, we called Houndstooth and they sent the same man out again and he said he needed to re-clean it.. The day after the second cleaning, the carpet mildew smell was back! I called and and they said they would send someone out. Since this would be the third visit, I asked them what the plan was. I didn't know if cleaning it again would help or if the carpet needed to be replaced. The manager started yelling at me! I was so shocked that I knew nobody would believe me. I told my husband and he called and spoke with the manager and he admitted he yelled at me and was unapologetic! He then yelled at my husband and said he was tired of having to defend himself. I was actually glad that he yelled at my husband so there was no question that he went off the handle with me!

--Long story short, when the "expert" was supposed to come to look at the carpet for the third time to fix it he never showed up.

Their customer service is unbelievably bad and if I were to speak to someone the way the 'manager' spoke to me, I would lose my job!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!

USE NO-RES! My friend recommended them and I should have listened and then I would be having to beg the company to come and fix my mildewed carpet in the room that is unusable now!

Would not recommend, EVER. Mildewed up my neighbors house, then the manager became obscene when we called to complain. We had him on speaker phone and could every word!

The Good(No Bad or Ugly). Read most reviews before using Houndstooth for about

the fourth time in 14 years at this address. Have NEVER

had a problem with quality of service rendered. Today I

used a MAIL SPECIAL DEAL covering the whole house

for an extremely low price. Have never written a review

before, but am compelled to this time. Service man

called 30 minutes before scheduled time end to say he

was running 30 minutes late and could he still come. Wife

advised him to come on as we had readied house for him

to clean(we all should appreciate what these people have

to go through every day - They never know what they will

run into). He arrived, went right to work, ended job in

very short time, then went through house spraying and

removing any stubborn spots by hand. By far, the BEST

CARPET CLEANING JOB we have ever received.

Remember, 14 years - Still the same carpet. I made

sure I got this man's name(would only give first) so we can ask for him next time. If this sounds like a company

commercial, sorry about that. These are my wife's and

my honest comments on great service rendered!

terrible job. I have my carpets cleaned about twice a year & we have some problem areas where my dogs like to use the bathroom so i know what to expect. they showed up on time but charged me 25 dollars each time he sprayed his " Rug doctor" pre treament ! ( yes i saw him pour it out of the jug into his outdoor bug sprayer) Anyhow it went from a 64.00 job to a 175.00 dollar job & it looks & smells worse then before. The stains were not visable unitl after he left & the odor removal & protection is BOGUS ! Left my carpets soaking wet for over a day & dumped all of the water in my upstairs tub ! i could have rented a rug doctor for 40 bucks & did a better job ! Very dissapointed .

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!. I never got to use them cause they were late!! i had a 10-1 appointment and they didn't call until 1:15 to say that they weren't gonna be there til after 2 sometime!!! What a waste of time, Lucky for me i found another company that could come same day!!!

NOT Worth the Low Low Price!. I posted this review on another site and I am posting here to make sure no one else makes the same mistake as me of trying to use these people.

I will pay more not to use these people. Their ridiculously low price is NOT worth the wasted time, headaches, and simply unprofessional service. Here is my experience with them:

I called and made an appointment for a 1-4pm window. I had to call them at 4:30pm to ask where they were. I received a call at 5pm saying that they were really busy and that they would be there in 45 minutes. I then told them to forget about it. I received a call the next day from the manager to apologize and he offered me another $20 off their special if I would reschedule. I rescheduled for the first appointment of the day thinking that there was no way that they could be extremely late to that. They didn't show up at the 8-8:30am window. I called at 9am to ask where they were and the guy on the phone said I would received a callback from a guy in the field. Fourty-five minutes later still no call back so I called again and demanded that the guy on the phone actually be the one to call me back. He soon called me back and told me that the hose of the truck was frozen and that the cleaner was working to get it thawed. I had my doubts on whether or not this was truet. Regardless, I should of received a call earlier to notify me that they would not be on time and an option to reschedule.

I wish I could write a review of their actual cleaning, but I never even got to that point. Based on all of my experience with them I wouldn't be surprised if that was a disappointment as well.

Ideal for the annual cleaning. Fully satisfied. No hidden fees at all. They send independent cleaners. So you might not get the same result every time. From my experience best result for the $. Ideal for the annual cleaning.

NEVER AGAIN!. The technician was supposed to be at my house between 9-11 a.m. They finally showed up at 12:15, asked for duct tape to tape their equipment before even starting, did a rush job, left my carpets SOPPING wet, and dumped all the dirty water and debris on my driveway. We had to call them back out to vacuum the excess water out. They were supposed to deodorize the carpets since we have pets and now it smells and looks even worse to me. They didn't get spots out where dogs frequently lay (even though my walmart spot cleaner could). I have my carpets cleaned 1-2x a year professionally and they just didn't get the job done. Very disappointed! (the only positive thing was that the technicians that came out were very nice).

I didn't think possible. I didn't think they could do it! A good job for such a low price. But they did. They seem to know how to give good value all around. Don't be scared of their price. It is real, it is low, and it is for a good job! Peace out.

They clean our church. They clean our church for twice a year. they do a real good job and give a reasonble price too. God bless them!
