Love Metalsome. Had a great experience last Sunday driving in from Macon, Ga and rocking out with Metalsome. Loved every second on stage with you guys and every second taking in your music. Steve is also phenomenal. Only way to share music is with real artists. Gotta get back!!

Famous Pub/ Club Famous Bands. The management of Famous Pub would like to thank the hundreds of local bands who have played in the recent months. We take our reviews seriously and our saddened by the fact that a band had a problem and chose not to share it with management. This will not stop us from being one of Atlantas Premier Music venues and look forward to hearing new talent soon

BANDS BEWARE. BANDS BEWARE........"Do not Book a Show HERE" . My band has performed there twice. The first time we were

scheduled for 10 and were pushed back to one ( 3 hours off slotted time) for no apparent reason. They could not even get the vocals working at all for first three songs. The second time we were booked there we were given an 8 p.m. slot. We arrived at six and were told we needed to unload and go on right away as the band at that moment were playing there last song. We firmly said no as there was already another band there with all their gear right next to the stage ready to go. We reasonably asked can't they perform next as they were ready to go. So they played a complete hour with multiple sound issues. When we took the stage we were told we only had 30 minutes to perform. There were no vocals in the stage monitors at all and when our drummer would hit a drum it would actually come back through the stage monitors with repeated delays. When he hit a drum you would hear it four times on the stage. Horrid.....Every band I have seen there complains about there sound onstage. Also the booking agent there also doubles as the

engineer. Needless to say he fails miserably at both. BANDS BEWARE........"Do not Book a Show HERE" .

At Famous Pub we are proud to be one of Atlantas newest music venues First off let me say I am sorry you did not have a good time here, secondly I am very dissapointed you did not contact a member of management if there was a problem. Band times are not exact, we do sometimes have bands that run over or cancel. We have never had a sound issue complaint before. Good luck to you and your band in the future if you have a problem with a venue I would suggest you report it to management

The Brand NEW Famous Pub & Sports Palace. Wow what a difference!! The tint is gone off the windows, complete remodel of entire bar, inside is SMOKE FREE. Smoking is permitted outside on the large covered patio. Brand new menu and great staff. Went for the Alabama vs LSU game and the place was packed. Definately going back for the 11/11/11 grandreopening 1986 prices all day long.

They lost their best people. What happened to this place is the loss of their best people. The owner and his wife got a divorce, (she was the one with brains) and then the daugher and son in law left. All that is left now are drunks and mess ups. Everyone seems lazy, uneducated, dense and rude, to say the least.

Famous is awesome!!!. Yes, the management has changed, but for the better!!! Better bartenders, better servers, and better food. Famous is great for watching football on Saturdays, and even during the week, the food is really good and the specials are awesome. It gets crowded a bit on weekend nights, but I've never had bad service. And even the crowds are full of beautiful people. :) If you just want to hang out with friends and drink and play pool or watch a game or just people-watch, this is the place to be. And there's plenty of parking!!! Where else can you find a fun place to hang out that stays open late and serves an awesome late-night menu too???

Used to be great, now it is the worst place ever!!!!. I have been a regular for a couple of years, but recently they were taken over by new management, This management should have never stepped foot in the place. I have a lot of friends who were formerly employed at famous, but over the course of the year, most have been fired for things that were not true. Most people I knew that went will not go anymore because of the crappy new staff and the unfair way that the previous long standing staff was treated. The old locals spent a lot of money there, and the way they are going, they are not only going to lose the last few regulars they might still have, but also not be able to bring in anyone new. The new staff has no personality, the place is a dump, and it is a ghost town all week long. I hope the management reads this and slinks out like they should. The few people that are there are old, scary, creepy or underage. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a frown because apparently the staff doesn't want to be there any more than the patrons. If for some reason you get stuck here, do yourself a favor and give your business to Maggie's two doors down, it might save your night. BUT you would be best to avoid like the place has the plague.

This place is on a downward spiral.... I have been coming to Famous off and on for the last 9 years. It has always had a very fun, energetic and outgoing base of customers. I can honestly say for the most part, the staff during this time has reflected the customers who would come in. Always cold beer, good tvs and pool tables. They added dancing a couple of years ago, but that has turned into a "fiasco" if you ask me. DON'T take a date here anymore. If you want her looked up and down by the scuzziest of the scuzz, or grabbed at by some of the "patrons" in the back bar, then by all means bring her in. The security there is a complete joke. They are too busy hanging out with friends to see anything transpire in the first place. The most depressing aspect of this once great hangout, has been the slow transformation of the staff. There used to be lots of fun loving, hard working people here. Take out the fun loving and hardworking, and what are you left with? You can imagine the type of customers that are being brought in by this "staff". No personality at all, and this is supposed to be a "Neighborhood Pub", which it is far from anymore. There are some "positives" about the place. They serve food late and have a great patio, but after that, it's just a bad feeling being in there. If you have been coming here for a while, I am sure you are nodding your head in agreement. If you haven't, don't waste your time, there are plenty of places that can serve you with a smile out there, and that truly care about their guests comfort level.

English Guy in Atlanta!. I was over in Atlanta for some training in a new job so I thought I pop into this place. Looked really good and the people were very friendly especially one of the waitresses whose name slips my mind but gave me more than just a night of drinking.

What a fantastic girl

'Famous Pub and Sports Palace' ought to be called "The End of the World". I am embarrassed that I even went into this place. I very apprehensively went out with a few people one night after they twisted my arm a few times, turned out to be the biggest losers in the world (which im not trying to be judgmental but it is beyond pathetic), and they took me to this place, FAMOUS. well, the vibe from the begining was beyond strange just walking in there. it felt something like a carnival, sports bar, with a pole in the back for these repressed karoke types... maybe las vegasy is the right word. just cheesey. This place is the end of the world, it really is... i am a native of atlanta, i have traveled all over the place... this is not my least favorite place and experience (if you can call it that), it is the end of the world. never talked to those people again either. doesnt the name say it all? 'famous' - i can understand new folks coming in from out of town and not being impressed the first time they go in there. but for the natives, i have never even heard of this place before... i didnt know it existed. i think the name 'famous' must attract some of the lamest people around. i dont write reviews like this but i just couldnt resist. go anywhere but this place. this place is cheesey. gold chain wearin karoke kids. run away!! dork bar. loser convention.
