I had just got out... from doing 7 long hard years, my partner and I were heading south on I-85 we saw this huge billboard with a brother on it (Collar Green Cafe'). We stopped to check it out! First of all the brother working in the kitchen looked like Pun-Jam (a old inmate trustee) whom worked in the kitchen back at the big house, so I became a little skeptical of whom was running this joint. But what the heck, I was extremely hungry and wanted some serious down to earth soul food. I ordered the smoothered porkchop, some collars, mac & cheese and corn bread...Let me tell you! It was tasteless to say the least. Put it this way...The owner should be doing some hard time himself for serving that garbage! Maybe he'd learn a thing or two. It's a dammm shame that absolutely zero TLC is put into soul food these days. The owner might better serve his business by renaming this joint The Fear Factor. My partner paid for the meals, so no big thing. But if it was up to me...I'd got myself into trouble again and end up back in the big house...At least the slop they serve you there held you over rather than bented you over.
Pros: Good location
Cons: The owner needs to rename place The Fear Factor or reestablish himself...maybe simply stick to burgers

I'm a down south home grown peach, i went to CGC to grab a bite to eat because i was craving some of that home cooked food... I was horrified when i tasted the mac and cheese, the food is not good, they should do away the owner and be done with the cook...
Pros: Nice sign
Cons: everything
