Okay but Rude Owner. I went here with my husband on a recommendation from a friend. I love dive bars so I was optimistic about this place. It wasn't very crowded when we walked in so we chatted up a gentleman behind the bar. He treated us like a burden and looked at my chest a lot. I was very put off by his manners. My husband and I had a few beers and some food despite the rude reception. Our waiter was actually really nice and helpful, so we asked him about the rude man. Imagine our surprise to find it was the owner. I don't recommend this place. There are better dive bars in Atlanta with nicer owners.
great place. They have a large selection of food from wings to burgers to specials like lasagna to eggs and hash. I can count the specials are really good & fresh. Its a great place know for the BBQ. You can also smoke on one side of the restaurant. I live a few miles away & eat their at least 2 times a month, everything is good.
Not cheap for what you get. Small servings and overpriced beer. Servers are friendly.
Your typical kick back joint.... No hassles, good food, been goin for 25 years...I do NOT like the keno... it belongs in a casino, not a friendly neighborhood tavern IMO...
Great Meat and Three at Very Reasonable Prices.. Stopped in for dinner. Great bar menu with the usual burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and wings. But they have a separate menu with "home cooked" specials, including fried chicken, meat loaf, lasagna, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, squash & tomatoes, and EXCELLENT mac 'n cheese. I had the country fried steak, which was HUGE, and cooked perfectly. Crispy batter, tender steak, served with creamy pepper gravy. There's a full bar serving liquor, beer and wine, all at very reasonable prices. Service was great. Several TV's playing a variety of sports, and a juke box playing mostly southern rock. Nice, laid-back, comfortable atmosphere for relaxing, having a drink and a stick-to-your-ribs meal.
Good food, cheap drinks. Great place for a grilled chicken sandwich, they have a wide variety to choose from. Inexpensive beers also, highly recommend if your looking for good pub food and a laid-back atmosphere.
Editorial Review. This comfortable neighborhood hangout does all the pub-style faves--BBQ, burgers, wings and plenty of beer choices.
