my take. i love the food but think the service is often lacking when we first started going there it was a good meal for the price over the last ten years the price has gone up a lot and the portions have gone down. tony's falafel, lamb and baba are my favorites, but we just can't afford to eat there...last time we left hungry after dropping a good amount of money
Are you kidding?.
Very disappointed in my experience here - I went this past saturday evening and it was practically empty. Know I know why. And you've got to be kidding me about these positive reviews - obviously family members are writing them so please beware.
My $17.50 sampler platter was medicore at best in taste and the portions were very small (1 small wilted stuffed grape leaf, 1 small triangle of kibbi that was dry, 3 extra small pieces of chewy beef kabob, 2 thin pieces of chewy chicken, 1 small piece of dried out kofta and 1 undercooked scoop of rice with bland kidney beans).
I just want to say to the owner that he should be ashamed to offer so little food at top prices when the quality of food, stained carpets and extra dark lighting is horrid. I will stick to Alladin's (near historic roswell) or the lebanese cafe on chambee tucker next to big lots where the food is excellent, fresh and reasonably priced.
Worth it!. I have visited Lawrence'sand it was worth it! Food was great and service was awesome.I woudn't think twice on saying help yourself with some tasty food and you'll know what I mean.
Lawrence's for Delicious Mediteranean Food!. This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta. I discovered it because it is close to my office, and now I eat there every week or two. The food is tasty, Mediteranean, and most of it is very healthy. It's all homemade and fresh, and I'm picky about things like tabouleh, babaganoush and hummus being fresh! You can also choose less exotic dishes like grilled meats, vegetables, rice and salad. I haven't had anything yet that I didn't enjoy. If you want a "real" restaurant (not a chain) with a neighborhood feel, great food and reasonable prices, you've got to try Lawrence's!
Falafel Heaven. This place is delicious. I have a hard time prying myself away from Nicola's, but Lawrence's has got it goin' on! You MUST try the Falafel, I think it is the best I've ever had. Served incredibly fresh and still warm, heavenly!
