Did Section IV of the Chattooga thru Southeastern Expeditions. Professional, safety trained, AND they really love what they do. It was an adventure of a lifetime - beginning with Class III rapids and learning to work as a team and yes, we did fall out at 7 Falls. A little wiser and thanks to the wonderful coaching of our fun and personable guide, Jim, we navigated the heart-pounding thrill of Corkscrew, Soc 'Em Dog, Jawbone and the rest. I really don't think I've had that much fun in years and can't wait to go again. Southeastern, you are the BEST! And Jim, thanks for a tremendous day.

Southeastern Expeditions will take you on whitewater rafting, canoe and kayaking trips on the Chattooga and Ocoee Rivers. Last summer, my dad, Uncle Bub and I went down the Chattooga River. It was really fun and we didn't tip over. You have to be a certain age for some of the trips so make sure you call first if you have young kids to make sure they can go.

I took a whitewater rafting trip on the Ocoee river, and it was a blast! We did the full day trip, running the upper and middle section of the river where the 1996 Olympics were held. The rapids were perfect, not to easy, not too hard. They fed us a great picnic lunch, and our guide was so much fun.
