“The breadsticks are good, but they give smaller portions then they used to.”
“The pizza is expensive, they hardly put ant toppings on, and they leave such a large area around the crust that they don't put any thing on.”
The Subway of takeout pizza joints embraces fresh ingredients and store-made crusts..
In Short
These bright white storefronts are accented with green and red details and photos of the chain's boyish founder. The simple menu focuses on standard pies and chicken-centric specialty pizzas--the Hawaiian BBQ, BBQ chicken, and bacon and chicken club--each topped with fresh ingredients like baby portobello mushrooms and roma tomatoes. A selection of sides includes bread sticks, cheese sticks, chicken strips and a handful of dipping sauces.
Typical assembly line pizza. The sauce is way too sweet. Leftover pizza is the best but this is no good for leftovers - the crust is like cardboard when you reheat it.
aeiger. If anyone can consider Papa John was one of the best pizza places in Atlanta, then there truly is no hope for taste here.
Ewww. This is really bad pizza. I would have to say the worst in the city. Way too much of the bad tasting sauce covers the pizza.
Blah, blah, blah. I never thought it was possible to make pizza taste like nothing, but Papa John's can do it. Sure it's cheap, but so is cardboard with tomato sauce!
Can't Go Wrong With Papa. The crust is delectable and the sauce is the most flavorful. The cheese is perfect and the toppings are just delicious. You can't go wrong with Papa John's Pizza. Plus they deliver this wonderful meal to you for free. They have specials every month so you always get more than you paid for.
Save the tomato Paste!. Good pizza if they would just cut back from using so much tomato paste/sauce. It just takes away from any toppings.
Yummmmy!!!. Papa John's Pizza is great, especially the extra fattening garlic butter crust dipping sauce!
why not eat dog food?. If you think this is real pizza, you're used to eating warm thick bread coated with ketchup and bad cheese.
Papa John's is a rip off. Papa John's is a rip off. The pizza is expensive, they hardly put ant toppings on, and they leave such a large area around the crust that they don't put any thing on. The breadsticks are good, but they give smaller portions then they used to.
