The best "go to" place.
We love this Longhorns because they truly go above and beyond. Sitting in the bar is the absolute place to be. We go up there just to split appetizers and have a few drinks. Most of the staff really go above and beyond to make your dinner perfect.
One night they ran out of vodka and crown, so the Manager sent someone to Toco liquor store to buy more! Sure, they shouldn't have ran out but they made up for it.
Their food is fantastic, and we love the menu changes....shaking things up a bit is always good!

National chain rustles up rib eyes, T-bones and fillets in a kid-friendly, Lone Star-inspired setting..
In Short
One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.

Pleasantly suprised.
I chose this place to dine out for Father's Day. I didn't have the highest expectations (those commercials are pretty cheesy). Seemed like a good fit for my father... We had a really good experience, though. Service was just excellent. My steak wasn't prepared exactly the way I prefer and my server was very accomodating when I sent it back to the kitchen. The sides were a little lacking, I think, but the cuts of meat were comparable to Ruths' Chris (at half the price). Good for kids, too, with crayons and a nice children's menu.
