Our intention at Peachtree Yoga Center is to help you find the quiet, the equanimity and the inner wisdom that is the promise of yoga.
Whether you are a beginning or an experienced student, seeking a gentle or vigorous practice, we offer classes to move you along your path. Teachers here take a personal interest in you and support your progress with individualized instruction and hands-on guidance.
Yoga develops stamina, strength, and flexibility. It tones and creates better health. On a deeper level, yoga is a path for transformation of life, where the yoga mat becomes the world and the skills that you learn in class translate to every day situations. Our goal is to help you connect deeply with your body so that you find the wisdom of your own practice, a place of peace and stillness that is a center from which you live.

Great Classes, No respect for time.
As far as yoga studios in my area, this is the only one I really want to go to. AMAZING classes for intermediate to advanced students like myself (although, of course there are basic classes too), great prices for the quality and a variety of teachers who keep classes interesting.
My biggest complaint is that students and teachers have no respect for time. Each and every class I've been to in the last week has started at least 10 minutes late and students have come in as late as 20 after class has started and who leave whenever they please. I have been to probably around 10-15 yoga studios in my life, none of which allow students in past 5 minutes after class starts...It's highly disruptive and can really ruin my mood.
However, the quality of instruction is pretty good otherwise, so I'll deal with it for now.
One of Atlanta's Best Yoga Studios. Soothing space, a variety of great classes, styles, teachers, the best yoga teacher training program in Atlanta and the whole south. There is definitely a soulful or spiritual quality but in a more universal way with out being dogmatic or religious. Excellent book store with inspirational gifts and some of the best non slip yoga mats I've tried. Check out a class or two and find a yoga teacher/s you really resonate with. Yoga takes some work, but it's nourishing for body, mind and soul. There are also gentle classes on the schedule for people with limitations or if you just want to restore yourself in a more gentle way.
An oasis for yoga, massage and meditation in Buckhead..
In Short
Nearly 30 classes a week are offered in two studios, including vinyasa, Iyengar, kundalini, hatha, kripalu and prenatal yoga classes. All levels are welcomed from beginner to advanced students. In addition, Peachtree offers Reiki treatments, yoga therapy and ayurvedic massage and a space dedicated to meditation. Also sells yoga supplies and clothing.
An Oasis. Peachtree Yoga has long been my oasis after busy Atlanta days and a source of growth both physically and spiritually. Classes and teachers are accommodating to various levels of yoga practice, from brand new students to the seasoned yogis. The extensive schedule of classes will allow for a yoga class to fit into almost any busy Atlantan's routine whether it be jump-starting your day bright and early or winding down with a deep breath before bed. A few minutes in the meditation room or sipping tea with "family" before class only heightens the experience here. I highly suggest the Teacher Training course for those interested in sharing or deepening their practice.
Totally love it!.
I have been practicing yoga for over 7 years now and this is the only yoga studio I have ever been to in Atlanta. Why go anywhere else when Peachtree is so fabulous? Lovely atmosphere, knowledgable and friendly teachers, a huge variety of yoga classes. If you have never been, I highly recommend that you check it out.
