Awful Service that doesn't seem to care. I can only comment on the service as I waited for over 45 minutes and never received my takeout food. I walked in thinking I would give this place a shot and order takeout and be gone in 20 minutes. When I ordered the front desk guy just took my order and didn't mention time. Over 45 minutes later still no food and had to get a refund so I could finally eat somewhere else. As I am getting my refund another woman asked to see the manager because her table had been waiting 40 minutes for their food and was having bad service. Try at your Risk!

Great Chinese Food, Fast Service. Very authentic Chinese Food in a shopping center in Sandy Springs. Also has very good Thai dishes. Very friendly service.

Not the best dumplings. I went to this restaurant because Yahoo said that it had the best dumplings in Atlanta. The dumplings are no better than what you can get at a Chinese buffet. I also had the Hunan noodles. Again, the noodle tasted like those at a Chinese buffet.

The service was above average for a Chinese restaurant and so was the cleanliness.

I did not have the Thai food which was also reported to be very good.

Hidden Gem?. Hidden in a strip mall in Sandy Springs, Hunan Gourmet offers an excellent selection of moderately priced Chinese and Thai dishes. Food is consistent as is the crowd (dine-in and take out.) Friendly staff with clean, white-linen atmosphere that's not too loud (Upscale but casual.) Personally enjoy the Thai menu (Masaman, Pad Thai, Coconut Chicken Soup) but the Chinese menu is good as well. "Large" portions good for sharing. They deliver now as well.
