Loved the food. This is another place to loosen up. The atmosphere was very calming, probably because of the dim lights. The food was exceptional and the service was also outstanding. This place has always been one of my favorites.

Everything was GREAT!. I went to the Windward location and was blown away by the atmosphere, the food, service along with the wait staff working. It is a nice romantic place with dimmed lights but still casual with the opening into the kitchen watching the pizza guys toss the pizzas around and cook them in their brick oven. The portions were huge most of us had to get a to-go box but we still saved room for that amazing chocolate mousse cake! Overall it was a great experience and I would go back

Yummy Bread. Ippolito's is awsome! This place serves great italian in a very casual/ at home atomosphere. You have to try their rolls that they give you. It is sooooooo good.

Best garlic rolls anywhere!!!!. All locations are about the same as far as food, service and atmosphere. I would recommend any of the daily specials. They also cater to large groups and occasions which has always been a very pleasant experience for me. The atmosphere can get a bit loud. Nice bar area for waiting and the calzones are really stuffed!!

Average American Italian. The service was great and prompt. We went here on a Friday night and were seated right away and had no trouble parking. If you are looking for a great authentic Italian eatery, this is not the place. After living in Italy for quite some time, Ippolito's was a let down when it came to the food.

Sleep Inducing. If you want to eat well for not a lot of money, this is the place. The bread is great and you can fill yourself up on that. I barely have enough room for my favorite at Ippolitos - the lasagna. A great place to eat for lunch (except you might want to take a nap afterward). I've eaten here several times and each time, the food was consistently good.

Big flavors, small prices at this family-style Italian restaurant.. The Scene
Ippolito's is a typical trattoria with red-checkered tablecloths, stucco and brick walls, and a loud, bustling interior. Though some of the five Atlanta locations are set in less-than-stunning strip malls, it's not hard to get swept up by the homey Italian atmosphere and helpful, knowledgeable servers. The restaurants are extremely popular with younger families.

The Food
Hearty, family-style offerings send most people out with a to-go box. All garlic rolls, for which the restaurant is known, and sauces are made fresh daily. Mussels simmering in a white wine sauce and breaded calamari with a flavorful, tomato-based sauce make good appetizers for the group. For pasta, pair cheese tortellini or heavy ravioli with your choice of sauce; try the outstanding cardinale, a marinara and alfredo mix. Divine calzones are loaded with quality cheese. Save room for dessert: key lime pie is just tangy enough, and non-traditional tiramisu is a large serving of chocolate and mocha-flavored decadence.

Best Marinara sauce in town!. I am spoiled. My family is Italian and Ippolito's is the only Italian restaurant where the marinara sauce is better than Mom's! My hubby and I are there every Friday night and usually run in to my parents! The spagetti with marinara is the best. The cheese pizza is thin and tasty also. Great enviroment. LOVE THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!!
