Avoid Ruth's Chris on crowded nights. I wrote a letter to the general manager describing my (surprising) disappointment with my most recent experience at Ruths Chris. Here is an excerpt:

Our reservations were for ten people at 8:30 pm. We were finally seated at our table at 9:10 pm, and we received our salads and soups at 10:20 pm, 110 minutes after our reservation time; incredibly, one person had not received her drink order (a Coca-Cola) until then. We received our dinners at 11:15, after one member of the party had to go two times to ask where the food was.

Our waitress, G, was, well, terrible. She did not keep water glasses full; she disappeared for long periods of time; and we had to ask for more bread. She made no effort to accommodate us, given the delays in the kitchen. Not what I would have thought from a restaurant like this.

Perfect steaks right off 285. Another Ruth's Chris winner that is right off of 285. easy to get to and always worth it. The steaks are perfect every time. My last time I went to this location it was with one of my best clients. I knew I could not go wrong with a quality and straight forward menu. Steaks, steaks and more steaks and all of them good. The focus was on business and not what to order....we both knew whatever we got it would be amazing. The servers are courteous of your business conversations but don't leave you unattended.
