Real Barbershop Real Haircut. If you're looking for looking for a real barbershop and a good reasonably priced haircut Tommy's is the place. Get a shoe shine and chill out with a Coke if you have to wait?

No stylist here!

Everyone, including the patrons will engage you in conversation and you will find Tommy's to be a local gathering spot to discuss any thing from sports to politics.

Spare yourself a bad haircut and keep looking. After reading several positive reviews for this barber shop, I decided to try it out. I wish I hadn't. My haircut was rushed and the results showed it. My nameless barber was unconversational, unwelcoming and rather unskilled. Maybe I just got their worst barber on a bad day. Regardless, I won't be back.

Best Traditional Men's Barber Shop In Atlanta. I am a 27 year old guy who moved to Atlanta 1 year ago. I knew it would be difficult to replace Frank, my long-time barber in Connecticut, but I never though it could be such a nightmare. The first barber I went to wasn't bad, except for the $30 price, and the body odor stench that was soaked into the chair. Also, the women stylists at this "barber shop" liked to talk about movies, T.V., celebrities, etc. And they were constantly trying to wash my hair and fill it with "product." It was not a "barber shop" by anyone's definition. Next, I decided to find a male barber, in hopes of locating someone who didn't want to wash my hair and liked to talk football, whiskey, cars, etc. Unfortunatley, the guy I was referred to charged $40 and liked to talk politics. One time I went in for a haircut and he had forgotten his electric clippers. He said, and I quote, "I was using the clippers on myself the other day, and I left them at home." Since he had long hair in the back (and couldn't have been using the clippers to trim his neck hair), I imagined the worst and never went back. Next, I tried to find a place that was close to work. My first try found me at a mega salon, completely geared toward women. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in an unhappy place, and wanted to bolt. But I needed the haircut for a business trip the next day. The girl who cut my hair was weird and rushed the whole thing because she didn't want her lunch to get cold. She parted my hair on the wrong side and let so much hair fall down inside my collar that I had to go home and change. This was the worst of the three experiences, and I threw $30 at the woman and and ran out of the place, never to go back. FINALLY, I TRIED THOMAS BARBER SHOP YESTERDAY! - A quick, $16 haircut - no washing or hairgel - newspapers & sports illustrated - a shoeshine dude too! A TOP-NOTCH, TRADITIONAL MEN'S BARBER SHOP! MY SEARCH IS OVER!!!!
