No kit 4 U.... I walked into Sephora looking for a demonstration on the Bare Minerals product line. I was asked if I can come back after lunch and maybe I would have better luck getting someone to demonstrate. I returned about 45 minutes later and was greeted by a young lady who seemed to know the products well. After speaking with me, she quickly assessed that I wanted the matte bare minerals, however the matte did not come in the kit that I was interested in, so I opted for the original. She began to gather the samples and applied half of my face with the line. I liked the finish, so I gave her the go ahead to complete the other half of my face. After all this, she came back to tell me that, " The color you need does not come in a kit." Isn't that the reason we went with the original because I specifically said I was interested in the kit? DUH!!! She then began to tell me that I would come out better buying separately, Well first I need the primer and then the powder, not to mention the 3 brushes and everything else that the kit comes with cost $60. If I purchased these things separately, I would be out $130 dollars. I walked out of Sephora with nothing but agitation. She wasted 30 minutes of my time not including the 45 minutes I used to grab lunch and return.

Hello LavonMichelle! I just stumbled upon your post regarding your Bare Escentuals color consultation. It's 4 months out and I am not certain if you have found what you are looking for by now.FYI B. E. now has a customizable kit...everything is inclusive (primer, 2 face brushes, concealer brush, warmth, mineral veil, DVD). The great thing is you choose your shade of foundation and preference (matte or original) & add that to your customizable kit. This kit reaches a broader clientele. Enjoy

Bright lights, red carpet and designer cosmetics bring Hollywood makeup essentials to the masses.. In Short
This glitzy beauty boutique is covered wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling in fragrances, cosmetics and skin-care essentials. Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior and Shiseido are alongside harder-to-find brands like BeneFit, Interface and Nars. Everything is available for sampling and salespeople are eager to help clients dabble with new products. You're not here to bargain hunt, though. Expect to pay top dollar.

Great Skin Care Product's For Men! Very Helpful Staff!. I'm a professional business man, and keep up my apperance, but I've reached that age, when I need to nourish my skin. I feel uncomfortable going to a Department Store Cosmetic counter. But I was at Lenox Square last year, and wondered into Sephora. One of the staff members approached, and I told her about my dry skin. And of course the subject of aging skin came up, and how men need to take care of their skin also. This very nice lady put me on a program, of deep tissue cleansing, face moisterizer, and scrub, I can do myself, when I shave. A have a nice glow on my face, new fresh skin, and that confidence, I need in my profession. Worth every penny.

Easy to drop a ton of cash. I shopped Sephora online long before I discovered the retail store. I've found an amazing selection here of all my favorite brands (Benefit, Stila, etc). Displays are well organized for easy browsing. There's so much to choose from, though, it's easy to get overwhelmed. I find that I either get frustrated and walk out with nothing, or buy way, way too much stuff. The general Sephora brand products are a great value and decent quality.

Eye Candy. I wish I hadn't discovered Sephora. It's like a candy store stocked with cosmetics. With no pressure to buy a particular brand, one can wander the store in peace without being conned into buying the "free gifts" offered at most makeup counters. The downside: the lighting is a bit dark, so sometimes it's hard to know how a particular product looks on your face.
