If food court dining isn't your thing, check out Prime in Lenox Square's upper level. The half price steak special available every afternoon from 4-6:15 is a steal. My choice for a side dish would have to be their cheese grits.
Not the New York , but simply PRIME, This Lenox Square restaurant is sit down yet casual given its mall location. Awesome salmon.
My Favorite Restaraunt. Well I've been eating at Prime for about eight years now so I guess I can write a review. This is my favorite place to eat in Atlanta. I love the location. As a single woman, sometimes I'm out shopping by myself and I can just stop by and have a great meal, lunch or dinner, by myself. The staff here is so nice to me. The drinks are great. I don't think there's anthing on the menu I haven't had, but I usually stick to the sushi, that's just my favorite. Oysters, steak, chicken, there's something for everyone, so I always feel comfortable asking friends to meet me here. The dining room is gorgeous but I can also sit in the outside area for a more spacious feel. I've been here by myself, with friends, on dates, it's perfect for all occasions. Love love love Prime.
Fantastic Unique Steakhouse. I have to several of the top, prime Atlanta steakhouses and tonight was my first trip to "Prime" located on the second floor of Lenox Mall. If you are looking for intimate and romantic steakhouse, then Prime is not your place. It is an upscale, but casual dining room that provides a terrific atmosphere. The service was fantastic and speedy, unlike a few other places I have recently been to. The steak ranks right up there with the best in Atlanta comparing to Bones, NY Prime, and Chops. Sides were large and delicious. Overall, a great experience at an average Prime steakhouse price.
recommended by a person who lives in Sarasota, FL. Dined at Prime October 15, 2008. Stayed nearby and made a reservation, based on the recommendation of a man I met in Sarasota, FL. Surprised, and delighted to find sushi offerings on the menu. My girlfriend ordered a bone-in ribeye. Perhaps not the best meal ever, but everything was good. Nice view, and table, good selection of wines and martinis, attention from the waitstaff, and good food. Will I go again? Yes, and knowing Atlanta there are other choices to make too.
ok mall dining. Prime is located inside Lenox Mall, so after shopping with a buddy of mine we both decided to go to Prime since we both wanted sushi. This place is alright I must say. Nothing too spectacular. The sushi seemed to taste pretty blan, and our service was decent. It didn't seem like we got much attention though because the friend and I were younger than most people in there, and we looked as if we just jumped off a school bus or something. Well... who really goes to the mall to eat all the time anyway?!
Stick with the steak..avoid the oysters.
I went here for the 1/2 price steak special during the week and also had a salad and a side of 6 oysters. Obviously this place isnt known for their oysters as they had 1 type to choose from. Out of the 6, there was 1 of adequate size and the rest, well lets just say the other oysters must not of ate their wheaties. But the salad was good and the steak was at least average. For 1/2 price a great deal. Just avoid the oysters. On a Friday at 6PM the bar was packed with people.
I'll definitely go back again for the 1/2 steaks and maybe try some sushi.
great steak and sushi deals on Sundays. I've actually only been to Prime a couple of times on a day other than Sunday, and it has been great, but a little pricey for what you get. On Sundays, though, if you get there and place your order before 6:15 (or something like that), your steak is half-priced and the sushi is $1/piece. It's a great deal for some really good steak and sushi. The filet is excellent.
Worth the Price. My husband and I decided to try Prime during their happy hour special. I have been dragged to a few steak houses in this city for company dinners and Prime is by far the best. The staff was friendly and helpful and the manager even came over to see how we were. The steak was cooked perfectly and didn't require any other sauces to help it out. I would definately come here again. The best time to come is for Happy hour since the steaks are half off. Nice for people who are on a budget, but still want to experience excellent food.
The Prime Place!.
The Prime Place to take a break from shopping at Lenox Mall and dine on fresh seafood. My friends from Minneapolis always make it a point to shop at Crate & Barrel and end the day dining at Prime.
Our favorite dish is the Sea Bass in Miso Broth w/Ravioli. The restaurant also serves steaks and sushi fare. So the next time you're at Lenox, be sure to stop by, you'll be pleased!
Steaks are supreme--and seafood and sushi fare well--at this attractive Buckhead hot spot..
The Scene
A casually chic crowd frequents this lively bar and posh dining room located in bustling Lenox Mall. Blonde wood, marble floors, gauzy drapes and flattering lighting create a classy atmosphere that's just a tad noisy. Waiters in starched white coats manage to be both warm and knowledgeable; courses are nearly perfectly timed.
The Food
Prime offers a full sushi bar, as well as seafood and regional cuisine, but its reputation is built on superior prime-aged beef. The Kansas City steak offers unadulterated beef pleasure. Seafood dishes also satisfy; the sea bass in miso broth with ravioli, shitake mushrooms and greens is delicate and both the flounder and red clam sushi are flavorful and fresh. Sides are served separately and pale beside entrees; jumbo asparagus is a bit sinewy and the hollandaise timid. For dessert, try the New York-style cheesecake.
"Prime" Is Still Prime! Great Sushi!.
Whenever I'm shopping at Lenox Square, yes it's still Lenox Square to us native Atlantans-Lenox Mall to the wannabee's, I always make a point to stop into Prime. It's located on the second level, at the main entrance, across from Crate and Barrel. Whether it's just a martini, an exceptional lunch, or a lucious dinner, I can always count on Prime.
My favorite place to sit, is out on the terrace, over-looking the shoppers, for the best people watching in the ATL. The restaurant has a contemporary feel, with formal accents. The sushi selection and sushi bar is always fresh and delightful. Alway fresh seafood, but I usually just go for one of their "Prime", aged steaks. All the sides are a perfect complement. They have a new executive-chef on board, keeping the menu up to the moment. The NY Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, will send you home happy, and give your specialty store credit cards a rest.
