If food court dining isn't your thing, check out Prime in Lenox Square's upper level. The half price steak special available every afternoon from 4-6:15 is a steal. My choice for a side dish would have to be their cheese grits.
new chef = amazing food – i recently dined at Prime on Valentines Day with my wife after not having been in quite some time and was amazed by the offerings for specials that evening. I usually go for the tradtional fare of sushi and a delicious filet but the specials that nite were such a suprise i had to have one of them, a dish of seared scallops topped with foie grois and a delightful plum sauce - i was speechless, the flavors were amazing
my wife and also shared the beet salad and it too was wonderful.
we were told there was a new head chef and we will be back more often to see what he comes up with and are looking forward to some changes in the menu too
might breath a little life into one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants
customer – Wonderful restaurant. Great food, terrific service and comfortable atmoshpere. An out-of-towner, I get here about twice a month. There used to be an awesome saxophone player (whom I miss during my return visits) who made the atmosphere unique to the Atlana dining scene. That's the only thing I can think of that could make this already special place even more special.
Dissapointed – Broken lamps on tables, footprints on tablecloth, out of two differnt wines that I asked for. Here to serve Restaurant group has gone down hill. No wonder Tom Tom failed. Sincerely, Former Cutomer
Not Impressive – Prime was better than the average bear but not impressive. I can name several better steakhouses such as Stoney River, Chops, Bones and Fogo De Chao. As of the above did a better job on the tempature and the steak was of better quality.
Sushi and Steak – The sushi is top notch and if you get there early, you'll not find a better steak for $10 anywhere in town!! I highly recommend the jalepeno cheese grits.
