Amazing atmosphere and great jazz on the weekends; one of the most romantic spots in town. If you want to get crazy order the chocolate fondue, but be sure to order 48 hrs in advance!

My favorite restaurant in Buckhead!. If you're looking for a surprisingly unsual dining/entertainment atmosphere, you can find it at Dante's! Dante's offers both fondue and a regular surf and turf style menu. It's full of history which is plastered all over the walls of the three or four story restaurant. Nightly jazz bands are featured and tables are located on a ship surrounded by a mote filled with sea-life, including alligators! Dante, himself, is also known for touching every table to ensure a pleasant dining and entertaining experience. Highly recommended.

Cheese and Jazz - how could that be bad?. Great evening on the ship at Dante's! 3 course meal with fondue cooking at the table. Nice change in pace for a dinner out. Peaked at the alligator too - I'm sure I saved the turtle since the alligator was filled with bread!

Something Different - Nice Change of Pace. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Its absolutely wonderful. My husband and I go here as a change of pace. Its fondue so you have to cook your own food, but the ingredients that they provide to go into the food are delicious and make the meal taste good. Management comes out and is friendly. The best part of all is that it looks like the inside of a ship. How great is that?!?

Very Cool, but it's expensive. It's an awesome place. I love the pirate-y waitstaff, and the live jazz is always a lot of fun, but it's so expensive! I still like going there from time to time, though.

Perfect Ambiance...Divine Cheese Fondue!. This has, BAR-NONE, been my favorite place to go when in Atlanta!! Have frequented this place since I was a child (now 38). On or Off "the ship"...Jazz or Acoustic guitar...young or old...romance or friend....Heavy or Light eater...wine or coffee....You WILL NOT BE SORRY!!! Dante himself is as kind as they come, & I HOPE his place will stay around forever!! LOVE IT!!!!!

no food for big bucks. Comming from a person who values atmophere, it was an amazing building. We were very disappointed in the amount of food we got for the price. We almost asked to speak to the manager and complain, but 1.) we aren't those kind of people and 2.) we realize that this is par for "expensive" dining. We wanted to stop and grab a bite to eat on the way home because we were actually pretty hungry when we left there. We won't be going back.

Interesting. Dante's is a very interesting dining experience. We went there on a referral from a friend. We sat on the boat and overlooked the jazz band. The jazz band was incredible and the music was amazing. We had a great waiter who was helpful and made great suggestions. The food was just ok. It was good but not what I expected for the price. I thought for the food that it was relatively expensive.

Mediocre and Overpriced. I did not enjoy Dante's. My boyfriend and I went for dinner date night and got the sampler fondue with a cheese fondue appetizer. The cheese was mediocre, at best and the bread was stale. The fondue meat was unseasoned and tasted as though someone just thought to chop up some beef and throw it on a platter earlier that afternoon. I think the Melting Pt has much better meat and cheese fondue.

There was a live jazz band, which was pretty cool. We sat at the bottom of the ship, close to the live band. Very nice atmosphere but small squished together tables.

They have a special dessert fondue, but you have to preorder it. Why can't they just throw some melted chocolate and marshmallows/fruit on a plate for those who wanted a smaller chocolate dessert? It doesn't seem that hard to throw together an alternate option.

Nice atmosphere, okay food. Dante's was very interesting...makes a great place for a first date as it will give plenty to talk about with its interesting decor and music. It's not the best place though for a dinner because the nature of fondue makes you wait before eating each bite. Great for drinks and dessert. But why can't you get their famous chocolate on the weekends??? That should be available on the weekend days!

The night my friends and I went our server wasn't the greatest either. Kept forgetting drinks and didn't really seem to care about our experience. Quite frustrating especially when you're paying that much for fondue.

Fun to experience once, but won't be returning.
