What People Are Saying About Tiffany & Co

In Short – From its legendary blue boxes to its ever-popular six-prong diamond solitaire engagement ring, Tiffany's is a staple in the jewelry industry. Although diamonds, emeralds and sapphires represent 70 percent of total sales, tableware, gifts and accessories are popular items as well. Pleasant and accommodating, the sales staff serves customers with respect, whether they're buying a $40 glass vase or a $40,000 diamond bracelet.
Uncomplicated Jewelry Buying
by thejam
I learned a VERY long time ago that as long as it is wrapped in the "Little Blue Box" you could give a woman just about anything, and you were going to be considered a rock star.
Make no mistake, you WILL pay more for jewelry at Tiffanys than most other places, but it's worth it knowing that anything you buy there is going to be quality and there is someone willing to spend all day with you.
After 14 years of marriage, this is the only place I shop for jewelry.
- Pros: Trusted Brand
- Cons: More Expensive Than Others
High prices but dependable quality
by atlantaintownlover
High quality fine jewelry pieces, but they should be ashamed at their prices on their lower end gift items and sterling items. There is a mark-up associated with the blue box, but the mark-ups on their silver stuff is can't be justified by the quality in any way. Service staff is aloof.
With Exception To One Thing
by nynynyny
With exception to the ultra preppie knob in Customer Service, the service there is indeed fitting for the reputation they have gained. This rude individual was not only incredibly ugly to the sales woman who was going above and beyond to assist me, but also looked my husband up and down like he was a bum off the street. This man seriously needs to go aboard the "mother ship" in NYC, where that behavior would be subjected to patronization.
