The Scene
At first glance, the JW Marriott in Buckhead is indistinguishable from the financial and banking institutions in its vicinity. Composed primarily in large, rectangular pieces of reflective glass, the hotel looks no different from its surrounding office buildings. But its location is prime. Poised at the center of the super-hot Buckhead suburb of Atlanta, the hotel is literally attached to Lenox Square and within easy walking distance to Phipps Plaza.

The Amenities
A beautiful sitting room serving food and drinks anchors the ground floor. All 371 guess rooms have extensive amenities and elegant style. The amount of comforts this hotel offers the weary traveler is impressive. In the rooms there are three telephones, a mini-bar, oversized marble baths, and terry-cloth bathrobes for guaranteed morning warmth. The impressive health club--de rigueur for hotels of this quality--provides a heated indoor lap-pool, sauna, exercise equipment, and, thankfully, expert masseuses to knead away the pain.

Other then the Grand Hyatt, this hotel provides business travelers with the most spacious rooms, aminities and a first rate staff of any hotel in Atlanta. The rooms are oversized and the hotel is designed around the business travler with a fantasitc fitness facility, restuarant and is connected to lenox mall. My second favorite hotel in atlanta to stay in

Pleasurable Visit

I had the opportunity to visit Atlanta on business from San Francisco. Found the JW Marriott on Citysearch and learned it was right near my business meetings. I was pleased with the room, the service of the staff, the bar/food and that a Starbucks was on property. I will make sure to return to this property again.
