Good food, service lacking. The food here is excellent, but the service is not as good as the Houston's on Peachtree.

One of My Favotites!. Wish they would open one up here in Alpharetta...then I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Lenox. This place is AWESOME...never had a bad meal here ever. I have tried almost everything on the menu too.

Love the chicken tender combo platter (not sure its even listed any more) with the baked beans and the incredible shoestring fries! YUM!!!

good place to stop by and eat. Houston's is great place for dinner and conversation. The atmosphere is very spirited but not too noisy. The food is good and the beer is served ice cold. Overall a nice experience.

Roomy banquettes and hefty portions typify this polished American grill that's popular for business deals and special occasions.. In Short
Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep booths done up in fine upholstery and lit from above by pin spotlights. Burgers, prime rib and steaks are the specialties of the house, but the menu also includes salmon, salads, pork chops and roasted chicken.

Lovely atmosphere. The patio was the absolute greatest place to have dinner. It was a warm night and my roommates and I were pretty much high on life and the ambience. We each had steak and wine...feeling sophisticated like the rest of the crowd. We all vowed to come back with dates.

Good American Food That Hits the Spot. We went to Houstons on a Thursday night, and it was crowded! Thankfully our wait was minimal. We were seated quite promptly, though ahead of people that had been waiting. Our server was chipper and knowledgeable about the menu. He even convinced us to try the seasonal vegetable of the day which was brussel sprouts.

I ordered the house-made veggie burger which turned out pretty average. It was nice to know that it wasn't some frozen patty and much tastier, but on the sweeter side. The couscous was really great, they used raisins and mixed in mint leaves which tasted fantastic. My dining partner ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and ate it all including the brussel sprouts he had been a little wary about. Thumbs up to the server!

The service was quite good, the server came back to check on us quite frequently and our glasses of water were continuously filled.

One gripe I had was that parking was pretty much valet only. We circled around til we found a spot alongside the street. Otherwise, it was a good experience. Not spectacular, but solid food all around and great service.

Laid back.. I visited this place on a business trip... so my bill was covered by the company. I did what I always do in this situation - pig out. The food seemed a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Great selection in beer, if you're into imports. It wasn't soo loud that you had to yell across the table to hold a conversation but there seemed to be a fun spirted atmosphere about the place. I stayed there about an hour+ after dinner conversing with my peers. Overall: a very pleasant dining experience if you are willing to shell out the bucks ($20-35).

Out of this World!. Houston's has become part of my routine when I travel to Atlanta. Their Prime Rib French-Dip Sandwich and fries (or vine ripened tomatoes) are a MUST! The flavor is unbelievable!! Also, the Spinach-Artichoke Dip is the best I have ever tried!
