I came to Steve because I have severe thinning hair...from breast cancer, from medication, from family history. I needed some hope. I got it. First, the atmosphere is welcoming and parking wasn't an issue which is ALWAYS an issue in Atlanta. Steve made some new suggestions for me and I went for it. My cut is the best I've had in years, I have a new regime to help my thinning hair issue (the hope part)...I went from washed out blonde to a redhead. It was a gamble and I am still adjusting to the look. But I think what I want you to take away from this review is Steve was the first professional who didn't say "let me show you some wigs". You can't imagine the hope that gives to a professional woman. The entire team at Steve Hightower was amazing. Great job, Steve and team! Did I mention reasonably priced?

Best cut ever!- Steve is a pro- he knows what will look good on you based on his experience in styling hair, your face shape and hair texture. I have complete confidence in Steve's ability so much so that I wanted a change in my style, told him I want a easy to care for style and to look good. He delivered and I have received too many compliments to count. The other thing is the haircut grows in beautifully.

Totally dislike haircut. Complete opposite of what I asked for which was shoulder length, layers, sides cut at angle, long enough to pull back in pony, some bangs, soft, feminine. Hair has natural curl - so don't cut for straight. After growing out for 8 mths, hair is not cut so short (just below chin!), cut in an old-fashioned bob, straight, one length - no layers....you get the point. Why did I even say what I wanted? Hello?

I was unhappy with my hairstylist and decided to try Steve Hightower salon who I knew had a great reputation in Atlanta. I have very thick, coarse hair and wanted a short haircut that looked feminine but also had an edginess to it. Kaya Cresswell came highly recommended so I set it up with her and I was very glad I did! She took the time to talk with me to get an idea of exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere in the salon is very relaxed without the chaos you find in most other salons. The result was way beyond my expectations. I received many compliments from family and friends. She is a perfectionist and is committed to making you happy.

Lori Schmidt is one of the most professional stylist in Atlanta. Along with her expertise she exhibits sincerity and care. She listens to your ideas and then executes them to your satisfaction. I followed Lori from another salon and do not hesitate to give her the highest recommendation. Thank you, Lori! You are the best!

I FLEW IN TO ATLANTA FROM CHICAGO ON BUSINESS I ASKED A FRIEND IF SHE COULD RECOMMEND A HAIR SALON TO GO TO BECAUSE I NEEDED MY HAIR DONE SHE REFERRED ME TO STEVE HIGHTOWER SALON I WENT THERE VERY NICE AND UPSCALE BEAUTIFUL PLACE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE I MET A YOUNG LADY THERE BY THE NAME OF KAYA CRESSWELL AT FIRST I WAS APPREHENSIVE ABOUT GETTING MY HAIR DONE BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE USE TO ONE PERSON DOING YOUR HAIR ALL THE TIME, ANYWAY SHE WAS WARM AND FRIENDLY VERY NICE SHE MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE I TOLD HER I WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THAT I TRUST SHE WOULD DO A GOOD JOD WELL SHE GAVE ME A CUT AND A COLOR AND I MUST SAY I ABSOLUTEY LOVE MY HAIR THE CUT WAS ON POINT THE COLOR WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS LADY DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY HAIR ANYTIME I AM IN TOWN I WILL COME BACK TO STEVE HIGHTOWER SALON AND REQUEST HER SHE WAS WONDERFUL THANKS I JUST LOVE MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Kaya Cresswell. I wanted a change for my natural hair and she suggested color. I had never had color before so she was patient and explained the process and we went through colors that would be good for the season as well as my skin color. My hair color was amazing and get compliments all the time. If you are looking for a stylist that cares about your hair then you can't go wrong with Kaya. She is knowledgeable, and a perfectionists so when you leave her chair you are guaranteed to turn heads and stop traffic.

In love with my new hairstyle!. Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVED this salon. I was growing my hair out for Locks of Love, and It had been years since I'd had a REAL hairstyle and cut, and I needed to be sure that the stylist I chose would understand my needs, and work with me. (I am quite active, and need to be able to pull my hair back quickly.) I did a lot of online research, and I landed in Steve Hightower's salon, and I don't think i could have made a better decision.

I did the consultation and cut with Steve, and he was great. He listened to what I had to say, and talked to me about what he was going to do before he did any of it.

He asked me multiple times if I really wanted to chop off all 12 inches of my hair, and that was reassuring that he didn't want to do anything unless I was very sure. He asked if it was okay if he cut my bangs shorter, and was super receptive to any feed back.

I was impressed with the speed and precision with which he cut and styled my hair. I am absolutely, 100% in love with my hair, I feel so confident and beautiful! I've had the cut for less than a day, and I've gotten so many compliments already!

The rest of the staff was awesome as well, they were all so friendly and pleasant to be around. My boyfriend came with me, and they were warm and welcoming to him as well, offering both of us drinks, and introducing themselves. The studio was beautiful, and very cozy!

I'd recommend this to anyone! I had to drive an hour and half to visit the salon, and it was worth it, hands down!

Steve Hightower - master of his art. I recently moved to Atlanta and changing my hairdresser was a big deal to me. I work in a corporate environment and having good hair color and style is very important to me.

After reading lots of reviews online, I decided to go with Steve Hightower. I am glad I did. I was amazed how perfectly he matched my highlights and how easy it was for him to understand and refresh my style. Steve is one of the rare professionals who master their art. I fully trust him because he pays attention to details and his mastery shows in everything he does.

Steve Hightower, the best ever. in the 7 years as a client of Steve Hightower, I have received compliments on my hair every day. Not only is the color perfect, but the cut and condition, thanks to the Oreal products he recommended, are unbelievable for someone my age. I can totally count on Steve to consistently do a fabulous job and very quickly which I love. his talent is only surpassed by his fantastic personality and genuine caring of me as a person. love him!!!!
