Staff is friendly, drinks poor, place need serious makeover. with the cold weather I was surprised to see how expensive they are charging for coat check, 3 $ is very stiff in any club no matter where. Staff is friendly, drinks are small, place need a serious makeover.

Gay leather bar keeps it hot with uniform nights and unabashed cruising.. In Short
Flashing strobe lights and cigarette cherries illuminate dancing shadows through thick clouds of smoke in this Dungeons and Dragons-themed bar. DJs tenaciously turn the dance beats while leather-clad bartenders man the bar and keep lethally mixed cocktails constantly flowing. Scantily clad jocks and pretty boys pose in hopes of impressing a suitable "Mr. Right Now." Others take a more no-holds-barred approach and head for the notorious back hall and billiards room for a little more than heavy breathing when the lights go down. Double doors lead to a large second floor deck, the only salvation for a breath of fresh air in the summer swelter. On cooler nights, this spot offers a great break from the dance floor. While parking here is devilish, the trudge across Cheshire doesn't seem so bad after an evening at the Heretic.

Amazing Atmosphere and Free Parking. If you're a crazy guy like me, you should definetely visit the Heretic on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm not one to go to gay clubs, but this club is HOT. There is no cover charge if you get there before 11 and if you can't make it before then, all you have to pay is $5. And get this...FREE parking. The only downside is that if you do happen to be kinda cheap like me and don't want to pay the cover, you'll only find old creepy guys there until the real hotties start showing up at 11. The drinks get you TIPSY and only cost, well I typically get shots, around $5 and they're definetely loaded with alcohol. The atmosphere is to die for and absolutely a great spot where you can really dance. Shirtless guys with hot bodies. Everytime I get on the dance floor I make it a priority to at least slide my hand down one or two hot bodies while dancing. OO yea, the guys there all act straight. So you know they're pretty hot! The crowd is really diverse which I like and the staffing is soo nice and friendly. If you compliment right, you might find yourself getting a free drink or two. One more thing, the lights turn off in the pool table room for like an hr or so, so if you're a FREAK you will always get into some action lol...have fun

Hot Hot Hot!!!. Heretic is the place for anyone who wants something different from the homogenous mix of prissy posers in more trendy gay bars. The guys at heretic come in all flavors, Asian, Black, White, Latino, etc. In addition, the guys are super manly and the hot bods are to die for. Get ready to stay til closing time because the dance floor is on fire until the floor lights come on. I didn't want to leave.

The place to meet hot gay Asian guys.. Atlanta is not really known for being a very diverse city...it's not like a New York or San Francisco.. but as for a great no attitude gay nightspot with a real international flavor then Heretic is the place to be. Some of the hottest Asian and Latino gay men in the metro area gather at Heretic every Friday and Saturday night. Unlike some other dance clubs.. its actually very easy to meet ppl at Heretic. It's a great mix of ages and ethnicities; there is something for everyone. Drinks are strong and cheap, and the staff is friendly, especially Jaime in the back bar.

Friendly, open minded, international flavor. Friday & Saturday nights are the night to go if you want a friendly place to go that has strong drinks. All Ethnicities/Races are there...Latins, Asians, Blacks, & Whites... and they all get along great and are into interracial dating too. Great place to make new friends...or a sex date : ) The music is excellent too...mostly house music.

Great place to go!. A newcomer to the Atlanta scene, I was introduced to Backstreet where I had a lot of fun until they got shut down. I turned my sights to the Heretic and I now call this place my club home on Friday and Saturday nights. Nice crowd, friendly staff, very strong drinks, and good music keep me entertained during my hours there. I haven't found a better gay club in town as of yet.

It takes some time for the crowd and music to get going, but by 12:30, the place is packed on both Friday and Saturday nights.

I've never paid for parking and although the entry price has gone up by a dollar recently, it's still a bargain compared to other places, especially considering the quality of the drinks.

Stiffest Drinks in Atlanta. Gay clubs are infamous for serving weak foo foo drinks; not The Heretic. Call Brand mixed drinks are $2.75 and they load them with liquor. No wonder the shirts start to come off the guys so quickly at this standard bearer for Atlanta's gay nightlife. If you go on a Fri or Sat night make sure you go to Jaime in the back dungeon bar. You will get your money's worth, he makes an awesome margarita.

Prepare To Be Amazed. Perfect for your one night stand, in fact you don't even have to leave the club to get some, yes full frontal nudity is common here, might as well be a bath house/club. If your a leather boy this is the place for you. You get to pick from every aspect of the gay community. If you are a drag queen you will never see the inside of the place, they will not let you in, sad huh?
