The Scene
Situated inauspiciously in the farthest reaches of a warehouse district, Eclipse seems like an unlikely candidate for fun second dates or rowdy, wine-soaked outings with your pals. Inside, a large room centers on a shrine of flickering candles. Flamenco guitar players generate a lively hum. Randomly matched tables are bordered by deep, comfortable sofas. Service is fast and friendly.
The Food
Small plates packed with big flavors transform Eclipse from into a restaurant that's worth a special trip. Since it's a tapas restaurant, you'll be able to sample a wide range of dishes. Serrano ham comes sliced paper-thin and garnished with roasted peppers and dense, fruity olives. The pungency of fresh horseradish transforms flaky bites of smoked mackerel. Rounds of seared rare tuna are perfumed with rich Moroccan spices. A fresh, pretty salad of diced tomatoes and red onion perfectly offsets a plate of lightly fried calamari.

For my wife's birthday (June 7th), she wanted to eat a spanish cuisine. So, I went Citysearchin' for spanish restaurants and came across Eclipse Di Luna. The reviews seemed very favorable. When we got to the restaurant, we were seated immediately. It is not as cozy as I would have liked it to be for the event but it is still a great restaurant. Sometimes, the live music seemed a little loud but it is not ear-drum shattering and you don't have to scream your lungs out trying to talk over it. The lighting hanging from the ceiling gives it a nice touch at night time. Plus they have places for you to sit outside if you prefer. Our server, Cooper, was excellent. She was very attentive to her section. I noticed that she would walk up and down every so often looking for drink levels, unused plates, etc and she was quick to remove and refill as necessary. We had a small amount of ribs as an appetizer and they were delicious. However, the main course, Chicken / Seafood Paella (it has a slightly different name on the menu) was just awesome. I will try the vegetarian Paella next time. Note: If you don't want leftovers, one order of the Paella dish will serve 2 people. They give you a lot! Overall, it is a great place and we will be back very soon.

I totally agree with another user review (by spold). The manager is atrocious and very very unprofessional to say the least. Me and my girlfriend were there recently to have a few drinks. I live across the street and so have been to this place several times before. As we ordered our drinks, a few gentlemen starting talking to us. They were visiting businessmen. We had short conversation but they were nice and offered to pay for our drinks, and told the bartender that they will pick the tab for the drinks we were having and the next one as well. Well, by they left after a while and me and my girlfriend ordered another round of drinks (white Zin, nothing too dizzy). I ordered another Zin afterwards. So in all we had 5 drinks. Around 11pm we were ready to leave and asked for my tab to be closed. He brought me my bill which charged me for 3 drinks. I was a bit perplexed and asked him whether the gentleman before me paid for the first 4 drinks or not. In the middle of our conversation, the manager barged in and even before hearing the whole thing started threatening us " You have to pay or else I will CALL THE COPS" . We were dumbfounded !!! Its not that we were two barely legal girls out drinking. I am a professional lady in my 30s, its not like paying for a couple of drinks matter anything to me. The manager did not even WANT to listen to us and basically wanted to use threat to resolve the issue. Unfortunately we are Never going to return and None of my friends are either. I would strongly advise you to go next door to the newly opened Twisted Taco to get a drink. That manager NEEDS to GO.

My father and his wife were visiting town so I wanted to take them to somewhere fun. I made a reservation so that we would not have to wait around for a table. So much for that idea! We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated after we checked in with the hostess. I honestly do not understand why I even bothered to make reservations. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table if I have made reservations. When we were finally seated, we waited around for 10 minutes looking for our waiter. Nobody showed up, so we got up and left. The only things else I can say about Eclipse Di Luna is that the music is very loud, you can barely have a conversation. The tables and chairs and very crowded and you can barely walk through to get to your table. I will not be coming back.
