Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.

Scattered, Smothered, & Always Covered! Pecan Waffles!. If you've never eaten in a Waffle House for breakfast, you've never moved beyond the Golden Arches. This is our favorite Waffle House location, on that crazy Cheshire Bridge Road. Especially late at night, when club goes, drag queens, all-nite taxi drivers, all come together. With the demise of the Dunk & Dine(Die-to us locals), this is the spot. Eggs, original pecan waffles(that batter from heaven), and signature Hash Browns--Scattered, Smotherd, Covered, Chopped, and anyother way you can think of, that time of night. This is one of Atlanta's best home-grown chains, and rightly so. Did Diamond Lil, just walk-in-----another cup of coffee please!
