Very Unprofessional Experience.
I have used Central Heating and Air for quite a few years. They installed a new furnace several years ago and I have had a maintenance contract with them until this year. Several years ago I had my mainenance service performed by Lee who was great and did many things that none of the service men had done before. Lee told me what he did was general service maintenance. So I became concerned that the maintenance I was receiving was less than it should be. Several weeks ago I had maintenance service performed. The service man was very unfriendly. He played a game on his cell phone for a half an hour while he was outside supposedly servicing my furnance in the crawlspace. I contacted Central Heating about my concerns. I spoke to Melanie and told her what happened . She told me the Cutomer Service Manager would call me the next day. I have not heard from anyone...
Central Heating and Air Conditioning staff have worked very hard to win my trust of them. I am feeling much better about this company with effort they have made. I have a very good service service man now and the communication from the company has been excellent. I will continue to use them for my service needs.
Useless and Unprofessional. Over a 4-year period, they came out once a summer because of my recurring A/C problems. Each time they charged me for a visit fee, and performed a leak search and charged me for that. They never found a leak. Finally, they said the leak was in a line that runs in the foundation of the condo and to keep refilling the Freon because breaking the foundation to repair the line would not be cost-effective. This summer, I asked Cool Masters, Inc. to come refill my freon. He offered to do a leak search for free, and found a leak in minutes. Unfortunately, because of the ineptitude of Central Heating & Air, the warranty on my unit has expired. Not only did I waste money on pointless visits and leak searches by central, but now I have to pay for a part to my unit that would have been covered by warranty just a year ago. I called to ask for a refund, and they were unwilling to work with me. All of Atlanta should know that Central is unprofessional and error-prone.
Saved us big money!.
We had another local company first look at our upstairs unit when it stopped working in mid-summer. They said that we had to replace our entire upstairs unit. Not being happy with spending $2600, we called Central Air for a second opinion. We did not tell them we already had someone diagnose our issue. They found that our AC was frozen and lacking refrigerant. It's been two weeks and our unit has been working wonderfully, cooler than ever.
This company seems honest and saved us big money! We actually used them once two winters ago as well and they fixed our heating for a low price as well. We haven't had any issues since that time.
