In Short
This urban destination restaurant--the centerpiece of a sleekly rehabilitated factory complex--announces itself by a long entryway that houses an upscale grocery. Inside, a smart, dark lounge opens onto a dramatic, high-ceilinged dining room. Shiny, mustard-colored brick frames large factory windows, and a long, low-lit bar offers a view of the scrupulously neat, glassed-in kitchen. Richly clothed banquettes border an airy fabric pavilion which encloses a private dining area. Service is excellent, as to be expected. Impeccable cooking techniques applied to organic or small-farm produce and carefully selected meats and seafood. Offerings on the $70 prix-fixe menu are pegged to the seasons and change often, but expect citrusy-lump crab fritters and locally farmed pork, to hand-poured artisanal cheeses and desserts made from apples picked earlier that afternoon. Happy surprises--a smoked trout amuse, a lemon granita intermezzo, or a postprandial chocolate truffle laced with lemongrass--show up at every turn.

i have been here several times, both on dates with my husband and with groups of friends. it is a very special dining experience. the service is impeccable. the food is decadent and clearly made with love and skill. yes the portions are small, but they are very rich, and i can never eat it all. in addition to the courses you order, they serve all sorts of little surprises between courses. the last time i was there, i jokingly asked the waiter if he was trying to hurt me by serving me all the food. he didn't get my joke, but i left feeling ill from all the butter. i think it's too rich for me!

I ate here last weekend and it does not disappoint. It is very pricey, for most of us a special occasion only meal, but worth every penny. The portions are small, but with all of the amuse bouche between each of the four courses, you will not go hungry. Mention if you are there for a birthday or anniversary, they will give you a little miniature cake which is just adorable. The figs and parmesan with honey and balsamic was the best part of my meal, but by then I was almost too full to enjoy it I will never understand why they moved from the previous, quaint location to this trendy industrial area but the food remains as one of Atlanta's best.

We had heard great things about this place but were greatly disappointed when we finally went to eat there. The wait staff was rude and snobby, they tried to rush us through out meal and when we complained we were told that the chef decides not the customer! We wrote a letter to complain about the service and were told that although they were sorry we felt we had a bad experience there was nothing they could do! The experience was so bad that I cannot even remember the food!
